OK guys - let me apologize up front for what is, I'm sure, a FAQ. I tried searching for an **up to date** answer regarding repair droids, but the info I found is either old or hiding somwhere I haven't discovered.
If my wife's character has a combat droid and I buy a repair droid; can I, as a non-DE, repair her droid when it gets damaged? Also, any info on the repair kits would be appreciated.

Yes,a Non De can have a droid with either a Repair Module (for black wounds) or the Auto-Heal module (for white bar damage).
As for the Repair Kits, also White bar damage, anyone can use them. Search around for them I believe many DEs have made factory crates of them, and like me have many left. And they come in different Strengths and Uses.
The Reconsruction Kits though only DEs can use them, they repair the Black bar wounds.

a droid with the repair module will heal another droid's wounds (does not heal damage). be careful though, the "LE repair Droid" is inaptly named, and is only able to repair if the DE who made it has actually installed a repair module. on a related note: any droid can be equipped with the repair module.
a droid with auto-repair modules sends out a healing pulse every N seconds that heals M points of damage (not wounds) to all friendly droids in the vicinity. N and M very depending upon how many modules are installed and the quality of those modules. if you use these droid, remember to turn it on after you call it!
repair kits:these are basically "droid stimpacks" that a player can use to heal his droids damage. they work exactly like stimpacks, except they target droids. any player can use a repair kit.
reconstruction kits: these are droid wound repair kits that a player can use to repair his droid's wounds. but the reconstruction kits can only be used by DEs.

Bah - none of the vendors had the ones that actually "repair" other droids; they only had the "LE Repair Droid".
Will keep searhing.

I couldn't find a stickied FAQ thread so I thought i'd ask here. I recently got master dancer and have some questions about mind buffing.
1) What dance is best when giving buffs? Is it Exotic 4?
2) How long should my customers watch me? 3:40 min?
3) Do I need to do anything like flourishes to insure a full, lasting buff?

The FAQ is the very first stickied thread at the top of the page. 
And it has a link under "Guides" called "Hard Numbers on Buffs."
According to it, the type of dance has almost no effect; you could use Basic if you wanted to. But the number and timing of flourishes matters a lot.
