I was really nice, chatted with people (but didn't spam) and still a crowd of five or six people stood there and watched afk'ers instead.
It was depressing. there wasn't even the illusion that they were live since there were no flourishes, no autospam, no nothing.
I know it's a free planet and all but i don't see how I can spend hours clicking buttons for people when they would all rather stand there and interact with.... nothing.
it was very far away from the experience i'm looking for as an entertainer, and i can't understand why it's preferable for the people coming to the cantina.
I can sympathize with you. There are only two reasons why I think they would so this. One is the person they are watching is a master and either you are not or they may not know you are. And if there is afemale entertainer and a male, nine and a half times out of ten the female will get the attention, unless of course the patron is female. Just human nature. But personally I rather chat with a live person too.
/shrug Who knows why people do what they do.

I'm sorry hon, I know this is a bummeras a live ent. 
To be fair though, we said we were going to try to use the sticky for allrants/debates/suggestions on AFK.
