Thread: Theater Manager Quest Bugs, Issues & Advice
- On the advertisement missions, sometimes the 10th / 20th / 30th person to listen to you gets the system message instead of you... he/she aslo gets the "You have reached rank one." message. This happened to my on the first advertisement mission on Bria, but when I went to talk to the TM, she let me progress.
- Dance is buggy.
- Some of the instruments do not have unique sounds (as with our other songs).
Issues
- Many people do not like the 400K xp that is required to learn the song/dance. I personally do, but I think it would be great to at least be able to pay the xp in installments (otherwise the Novice Musician/Dancer prereq. is misleading)
Advice
- Use " /conv " on the concert missions to talk to the audience members while standing on the stage. Look for responses about what songs/dances they like/dislike and what flourishes they like/dislike.
- Special effects seem to have no effect on the Satisfactory Rating.
I know this is a meager guide, but I mainly wanted to let people know about this bug. Please let people in-game know about this bug! Feel free to post your bugs, issues, advice or whatever you feel is pertinent. ![]()

What exactly do you mean by this? Everything sounds pretty distinct to me, with the following breakdown as to their role in the song:
Melody- Mandoviol, Nalargon
Counterpoint- Chidinkalu, Traz (ie the 2 types of "Horn")
Bassline- Bandfill
That covers the 5 different "sounds" we have at our disposal, and they all sounded pretty different to me.

The point being there are only 5 different sounds despite the 10 different instruments. It's not unique to this song, as is pointed out, but is still not right.

Otherwise you'll be forced to play whatever they're playing. The person who mentioned it failed his initial audition on that score. (Pun intended.)
I came so close to forgetting this on my most recent performance. I think I ended up disbanding with 20 seconds left till I needed to start playing. Not that it would have failed me, but I would have wreaked havoc on the group by doing all my /changes and such (and someone who was wondering what the heck was going on would've probably /stopped the band and then I'd be unhappy).
