So you want to Mind Buff people but don't know how? It's really easy.

Either target your patron and type /setper or join a group with the patron. Make sure they are watching you and not watching or listening* to anyone else and you are set.

If you never flourish at all, the buff will take 20 minutes. You can speed this up by performing flourishes.** The fastest you can apply a full duration and amount Mind Buff is 3 minutes and 20 seconds.

* There is a bug right now that messes up your buff if the patron is listening to a Musician

** Bandflourishes count as long as you are the one calling them

Don't forget that the Tools of the trade section under Performance on Galaxies Entertainer site has the lowdown.

Save duplication and get all the useful stuff in one place! Pretty please???

Not sure if this is an old information or not, but I severely buffed many even I'm not the one doing bandflourishes..

I'm reporting any names that breaks the Naming Policy, Roleplay seriousity and copyright laws, you can too...

Please do, as far as I know it counts as you flourish as well even in bandflourish.

Uh, no, that shouldn't work unless they are just going for the full 20 mins. I can check on it though.

I have a Dancer .. I know she can buff if she invites and has a pet in the group with her as the /setperformance target this makes group buff constant all ppl do is join and watch ... disband when they are done. You never have to do another /setperformance since the pet has it on him/her constantly ... but .. my question is .....

If I were to group with a Musician who has a pet in the grouip they have done a /setperformance on ... after they are done watching me can the listen to them while we are in the same group as long as they do it after they are done with me?

That way (If it can be done) We are running constant buffs anyone can get with no wait for the start of a set that they usually have to do with an afk performer ... but this couldn't be done without the person being there due to needed invites because of the pets we would be setting performance on ... It would also allow the person to choose the type of buff wanted and get it right away.

I like this idea if it works .. my partner and I would be able to give buffs with no wait and be able to chat with those getting buffs as well.

Tell me if you think this would work or not I know I can dance buff alone this way I have done it ... I just wondered if I could have a musician in the group using their pet in the same manner buffing seperatly.

Thanks,

Grouped listeners/watchers do not require you to do a /setperform. The person just has to watch for the appropriate time, then /stopwatch, listen for the appropriate time, and /stoplisten. The whole "session beginning" is because they are robots and can't let people in and out of the group at any time but only when their macro specifies.
