hi
i was offline several months, came back, read in news archive about a entertainer patch with many changes to entertainer professions
what are the changes plz help me
just heard there is a entertainer quest niow
are tehre new songs, new instruments?
new dances, new clothes?
is there any new way a enetrtainer can be useful? like "similar to squadleader" group buffs in combat?`
is there anything different in mind buffing now?
what is this entertainer quest, what gives it to you
are there any new rare entertainer items that u need to have?
i know about the entertainer droidsm, anything else new
plz help me out and answer my question

The Entertainer Quest can be taken from a Theatre Manager at one of the Guild Theatres. You can take a Dancer version and/or a Musician version of the quest. The Music sidegives a song as a final reward called Western, the Dance side gives a dance called Theatrical (I think) although the base dance does not display correctly to the audiance.
Buffs are still only doable in Cantina's, Theatres, Hotels and Camps.

As said, one new song, one new dance. If you complete the entertainer quests, and pay 400,000 XP for each.
No new instruments. The Xantha was mentioned as being a part of the quest rewards (from those who scoured the .tre files, I believe), but did not come into the game as of yet.
A few new clothes will be coming with the JTL changes. I don't believe you'll have to buy JTL to have access to them.
By what appears to be your definition of "useful", no, entertainers still aren't Bards.
The only differences that I've noticed to Mind Buffing is that bugs now prevent us from doing music and dance buffs simultaneously, and both are a lot more prone to fail.
The Entertainer Quests were reasonably summed up in the previous post.
The rarest Entertainer item that you need to have is a player at the keyboard controlling it. Well, we wish it was something you needed to have, but it's still the rarest.
