Someone in the audience said my outfit didn't match

Yet, all I was wearing was a red fleshwrap.... So either he was colorblind or maybe you should switch outfits if you get that message???

Were you asked to do Lyrical or Formal? It seems to be Deila's perception that those two dances were removed from the "requests" list at the last moment, but I had somebody tell me ingame that they'd been asked to do them even after they went live. If they're still in the list, then why are people now seeing audiences that won't request a specific dance? What's changed?

Audiences not asking for a particular Dance doesn't have anything to do with the pulling of Lyrical and Formal. People are not missing a response because it would have been Lyrical or Formal originally so it's now empty. It's just a roll. A chance roll that you will get audience info responses.

When I tested the roll on TC, it looked like it was a higher chance of getting info than not getting info, but that was just from my own testing. The only thing the Dev told me was that it was a roll. I said "I must have missed one!" and frantically ran around trying to re-talk to all the NPCs before the timer was up (failed btw ... in front of our Dev, yeah,I felt cool ) and he said "you know they won't always give all the information, right?"... so, I started testing it after that.

It was easy to see on TC after the timer was removed because you could just talk to the audience over and over again.

Also, wardrobe and tech effects should not influence the audience at all from what I know. Could be I misunderstood though, so go ahead and do it if it's more fun that way or you think it helps.

Hi, well, I almost completed it on my first time through, until I fell off the stage. *ahem* Failed the second time, and passed the third.

The advice I got was to use a lot of flourishes, except the ones they don't like, and many many effects. I also noticed that having clothes liked by the audience made a difference, as well as switching dances with every satisfaction update. I also would repeat any dances every other change if it had seemed to make a difference. Hope that helps

This isn't fun at all. I've been a master dancer for over a year but I've failed my first performance 4 times, so far, and that's with friends helping read the audiencetwice. The only information I ever get from the audience for the first performance is 1 flourish that they like. You get 120 seconds to choose randomdances from a master's list and it's driving me mad. I've done all the things that my guildmates have done and still no luck. Tomorrow I'm going to try the exactsame dances one friend did when she wasn't given a favorite dance, but shepassed.

Like our buffs, this is not an exact science... until someone figured out that buffing is 150 flourishes. It's so frustrating not knowing where you've gone wrong and having to wait 24.5 hours to try again. Tomorrow is day 5 (my fifth attempt)and if I do get past my first performance, I fear the second and third.

So now I rp a not so talented longtimemaster dancer with enough persistence to make a career of the dancing she loves. With persistence someday she'll learn the dance that someless experienced but more talenteddancers already know. /sigh I need this dance to participate in guild shows.
