In a word, 'Wow!'. What a night! It was so much better than I was even hoping for.
I really want to thank all the Flurrians who came out to party or even just to watch. I also want to send out a special thank those who crossed the boundaries of space and time to join us from other galaxies - not the least of which was our own dance correspondent.
I think that may be a first for us (unless Panthu sneaked into one of our prior events unbeknownst to me).
After a fairly long prep time in my own humble cantina in Star League City on Lok, we kicked off the festivities by singing a round of the traditional Life Day carol, "The Twelve Gifts of Life Day" with 12 performers across the stage each taking turns singing a verse. That seemed to get everyone in the holiday spirit so from there we traveled over the river and through the dunes to Talon Morte and later Olympus.
When we ran outta the SPF 1000 sunblock we left Lok and had a brief stopover at the Theed starport. While there we entertained the travel-weary passers-by with a rousing rendition of T*I*N*A. While there was a slight problem with one miscopied macro ending early (don't worry, Sian, we still love ya!) it did seem to be the first time it didn't get bogged down by lag at some point (T*I*N*A often ends up turning into T*I*A*N once lag kicks in, but this time it only turned into I*N*A - we lost our 'T'
). I also couldn't help but to notice a few people out there joining in with the T*I*N*A emotes - good for you!
After the Theed stopover we moved on to Rori. We ended up cutting one scheduled stop short due to a, ahem, unfortunate finding *cough*buffbot*cough*, but we quickly moved on to the city of Rising Sun, and forgot about whatever that other city was. While here we decided to do one more round of "Twelve Gifts" because once just wasn't enough!
Now by this time the party had been going on for only about, oh, five hours or so straight, but that just wasn't enough for this group, so our fellow Flurrian, Nix, invited the rest of us onboard his luxury yacht for an "after hours" party. So we continued on in space traveling around to various places and visting some POI's along the way dancing among the nebulae and asteroids. (Oh, and Nix, sorry about those dents on the hull ... and the accaragm stain on the carpet. I'm sure that'll come right out!
). The party kept going til after 1:00am (PST) (it started at 7:00pm), and Deila was right there with us to the very end. You are a party animal, Deila!
So that's the report. I did get some screenies, maybe I'll post them later somewhere if I can. If anyone else has any comments on the evening, feel free to add them here as well as any screenies that anyone else has.
For those of you who couldn't make this one or who did and still want more, don't forget about the upcoming holiday parties on Sunrunner and Bria, and also the New Year's party on Starsider.
As for me this little Twi is taking a well earned break. I think I'll spend some time relaxing by the beach on Vreni Island sipping sunburns. If you need me, just leave a message. I'll get back to you ... eventually.

Thanks Shi'ann
it was indeed a great event and I was really happy to have been a part of it. I'll post some great screenies I took in the next few days and post them here.
As for the hull job on my yacht and the carpet cleaning service, I'll just send you the bill.
Thanks again for organizing such a great event. And make sure you send me an invite for the next one.
