The reason something like this isn't in the game already is that they know we will all start reporting evey buff bot we know of as soon as this type of change goes live. Reporting you ask? Yes, because each and every one of those buff bots you see that is in the game will switch to an auto clicker program to kill the anti-afk popup.

They don't want to pay for enough CSR staff to handle the calls and they don't want to lose the income from these alt accounts as they are cancelled or banned.

Right now you can bet your ass the only solution they finally implement will be something that still allows these characters to exist and throws the couple of live ents left a little bone.

New dances and a registration fix anyone?

Those are just bug fixes and simple content (most of which was probably already present, I might add), that most likely required minimal resources. They didn't need to have an entireteam put together to address the registration problems. Addressing our position in the game, their stance on broad-scoped issues such as afk play, and the deep-seated issues with our buffing code will most likely require some serious round-table discussions. Just give it a little time, and try to direct the game in a satisfactory direction

i know i know this is so crazy but how about something that takes o dev team to do its so simple and while it may not completly get rid of botts it will drive them underground how about an odfficial ban on unatended gameplay.

If they had the pop up box pop up in a different spot every time they couldnt use 3rd party programs to afk-macro it,.. guess they didnt think of that one though

Pop up boxes would drive ME out of the game. I want to play - not work.

The solution to the buffbot problem is the end of the recursive macros, and that's coming - hopefully sooner now that they have some extra staff. 'Nuff said.
