Thread: Another Tip for Tips

whenever I had been dancing the last few weeks, I was getting hardly any tips. Not that I mind. I thought that maybe it was because of my "I only wear what I can make" policy.

But last weekend, I finally caved in and became factioned. What a difference.

If you are lacking tips, here are some suggestions. There is a civil war going on. Get involved. If you danec in one town, join the faction of that town. If you are neutral, andt the only blue dot to them they may come in the cantina and think you are of the opposing faction and not watch you. It seemed like the fighters were more interested in the people who were in their faction.

Read the message boards for your server and find out where most of the fighting is taking place and travel to one of those cantinas. There was a huge raid the other night on my town and there was no one in the cantina. I stopped fighting and went in and danced and made a lot in tips. When you are dancing in your cantina, listen in to the conversations and see if they are planning a raid on another town. Ask them if you can come along so that you can help heal them there. You never know, the people in that town's cantina may /denyservice to them for being on the other side and you could help them out.

Doing these things can help you get more involved in the game, if you haven't already.

Have Fun!

Why would you accept tips from members of the same faction? Man greedy people like you.

I am an undercover operative for the Rebel Alliance, posing as a cantina dancer in a town that boasts a pretty good population of both Rebels and Imperials. My mission is a non-combat one that requires me to befriend the Imperials that come into my cantina in the hope that they'll let down their guard and let slip some valuable intelligence that I can then report back to my superiors. In order to maintain my persona it is necessary for me to accept tips and healing from both factions and to appear in all ways to be a neutral in the Galactic Civil War. Even when I witness the brutal slaying of one of my comrades-in-arms right before me, I cannot allow myself to show the grief that I am feeling. Only my fellow covert rebels know that I am actually an undercover operative working on their side, and their tips and solidarity are what allows me to maintain my present cover and continue fighting for our freedom from the crushing oppression of the Empire. In addition to passing intelligence up the command chain, I also keep fellow rebels in the area apprised of local Imperial presence and movements, and when necessary will meet with overt rebel soldiers secretly in a quiet back corner of the local hotel for healing.

I tip the medics highly from my faction!

When it coems a time when I need a quick healing from a dancer when I am no longer master, I will tip the ones from my faction.

Greedy how? I don't ask for the tips. I don't care if I don't get any. I don't whine about it.

Geez.

I remember back when I was the only dancer of a faction in the cantina. I brought that up to some fellow faction members. Next thing I knew, I had a whole slew of entertainers that were of my faction. Now I wish I never brought it up cause I thought it was cool being the only one. lol I used to get great tips because of that, now there are too many of us. All me regulars still tip just as well and always will. There are alot of noobs there now though and they don't tip as well. I have people beg me to heal them, so I go heal them, then all I get is a thanks (if I'm lucky) and they leave. Then again, sometines they give me a large tip for going out of my way to come heal them. I heal everything. I am a master dancer, master medic/novice doctor.
