Im a newbieand just started a female Twi'lek Entertainer. I want to make her a Master Dancer in the future andcombining that with Teras Kasi.

Can you see any problems with this? Do they go well together? What should my attibute values be? (I raisedthe health a bit when I created her, it's 700 now)

I'm doing Dancer/Teras Kasi now and I'm not having any trouble. I've had to migrate my stats so that my health pool is maxed (at1000 for me) though cause before that i was just getting wiped constantly.l took from my secondary stats and kept my action high for dancing. And even doing both master dancer and teras kasi you'll still have some points left over to do other stuff, Im doing scout because exploration allows you to go up hills and stuff faster... something that my group of friends insisted upon One thing i will suggest you do if you wanna do dancer/tk is when you go hunting switch your title from dancer to something else. If not when you got to unpopulated areas to hunt, people will be constantly bugging you to come dance for them.

As a tera kasi ( expert level by now ), I invite you to read the TKA board to have an idea about the martial way and the issue you can face.

Oki, to answer your orignal question : as a master dancer you get a melee bonus ( I don't recall which kind ), so it's a good thing with TKA. About the attributes, when I was a brawler Health, Actionand their sub stats were importants ( I wasn't using an armor but clothes to max my regen rate ) when I reached TK novice Mind become a key stat. I hope that can help you.

I'm a Master Dancer/TK Novice and it's worked pretty well. Master Dancer gives you a +7 melee and ranged defense bonus, which is very helpful as a 'tank'.

You will need to give some thought to stat migration. I had a high action pool but gave up some of it to improve my health and mind pools. My character is human, so the health part wasn't as hard as it might be for a Twi'lek. Before the last patch or so, my HAM layout worked quite well, but now HAM seems to regen much more slowly, and I tend to get incapped from low Mind more than I did before.

There are some non-migration ways to handle that, of course. If you're adventuring with Master Musicians or Master Dancers, you can get a +50% mind buff in camp by /listening or /watching them for 10 or 15 minutes. You should also be careful about the Vibro Knucklers and armor you choose. My TK doesn't wear any armor but gloves, relying instead on quickness and my Dancer bonus for me to survive. And I never use specials while my VK is equipped as it raises HAM costs dramatically.

My main problem right now is skill points. I'm about 1/3 the way up through the TK tree and have started adding CH skills. Having a pet makes all the difference soloing, but very soon I'm going to have to give up another skill and I don't want it to be Dancer.

Sinda,

You mean that wearing an armor slow down your attack rate ? If it's the case I, by my side, didn't noticed any decrease in my attack rate with or without armor.

About VK and special move, since the last patch you can perform a special VK equipied without killing yourself in areasonablemeasure ( I tried knockdown and unarmedhit2 ) , of course you still have to pay attention and the best advice remains to unequipe your VK as Sinda told you.

Talking abour armor. Before the last patch I only used gloves and boots but now that the armor HAM cost has been tunned and the regen rate slowly decreased ( not 100% sure about that ), I "sometimes" wear a full sliced advanced padded but helm ( when I have to face too much blaster users ).

For what is worth, my current TKA skills are 0/1/4/2 .

No, I mean that armor has HAM costs that I don't need to incur since I survive by my specials. The HAM costs on a set of composite is atrocious. I've worn a full set of Ubese before, but ended up giving it to my scout because the HAM costs were so bad. I do just fine without it.

Sinda,

Have a look at advanced padded, the HAM cost isn't as high as composite and the resists are 33%. I find it usefull when I'm surrounded by creatures or npc. Of course it's a matter of taste
