most of the dances make us look "GAY" We need break dances and other dances for Master dancer. I hate dancing like a girl

Get us some more male dances Ravenmist!

*starts to choke the person who made the dances*

I hardly think the current dances make us look "gay" thats not the attitude to have for a male dancer.

Dances I would like to see implemented:

Yesa hyper athletic break dancing routine would be nice

Tapdancing, softshoe, ragtime, things like that........

A more masculine form of exotic would be nice

Some broadway style stuff that we could cordinate

A real partner dancing system, perhaps things like swing dancing, tango, and others would be nice

All in all I like most of my dances, even footloose, don't ask me why. But honestly I would like to see some more stuff that would improve the male entertainers. Also I would like some really nice outfits added for high up tailors that men can wear, formal suits, slick costumes, and maybe some stuff that is a little bit more risque for males, female dancers get fleshwraps and bustiers, I get to take off my shirt and show off my generic white tanktop, if nothing else at least let us go shirtless!

I think the dancer system is kinda biased towards our females counterparts, if we at least had some flashy moves to draw attention....and I'm not being greedy, I dont want male only or female only dances, I want my dancing women friends to get all the nice new dances I want. I just don't want to look silly doing a slow hula.

Yeah I agree most dances are made to appeal to the male audience. I wanna see some chipendale's type moves for the boys. I need a belated bachelorette party with lots of male dancers.. mmm. mmm... mmm...

I wonder if the devs will ever give you guys a "pelvic thrust" move. Then again with all the easily offended peeps who let their kiddies play, the idea may not fly well.

Personally, I don't see the dances as particularly female. People naturally think that when they see an exotic dance, I think, because those dances highlight the sexuality of the body, and most people don't associate that with men. They also think the same for the ballet dances, and yet plenty of men perform ballet.

I just want to see more dances across the board. Not male specific, not female specific. Just more dances. And more flourishes for those dances that only have one or two in them.

I will tend to agree with Pickles. Before adding more dances the devs need to tune the current flourishes on all dances, by doing that properly some of those new flourishes could maybe fit both genders.

PS : I've never saw a Master male dancer since recently and we danced Exotic 3 together, it was very nice. Thank you J .

Cielago, it's times like that, meeting up by chance in a tailor's shop and borrowing their living room to exotic dance as a pair, that make it all worthwhile.

Next time you won't get away so easily, however, I intend to sweep you off your feet and dance the night away with you.

And now... *firmly tugs the thread back onto the topic* ...aside from break dancing and pelvic thrusting (don't hold your breath on that one), what kind of dances would be more "male-oriented"? And is it just the ballet and the exotics that people complain about?

Capoeira would be the shizzit! Thats brazilian fight dancing that would be a sweet guy dance

So would traditional dances for men that highlight aggressive moves or hunting moves. Sword dances, spear dances, cane dancing.

More aggressive moves like Gene Kelly who was a very athletic dancer. Perhaps some bends and flips and something another dancer could dance off of. Where the male dancer twirls another dancer with an emote.

Popping is good, even breakdancing moves. I would love couple dancing its on the wishlist for me.

Something like a galliard or a jig.

And more dancing because women could dance a lot of these too, especially those with more muscular bodies and look good.

I don't want them to fix current flourishes before adding new dances..

I want them to do both at the same time. They both require trips to motion capture studios, which requires a few months lead time.

New dances would of course be great. For couples dances however, what about a nice waltz? We got the music... Breakdancing would be interesting with the right music. I'm not sure I can see doing it to any of the current songs though.

What about clothes? I think the lack of clothes annoys me more than the lack of dances.

What about all the traditional european dances.

ie Cossak, German folk dance, Irish, Greek and probably quite a few others I'm missing

They all have male oriented parts

And there are probably quite a few traditional dances from all over the world with distictive moves.

Tribal 1, 2 and/or 3 anyone?

not too familiar with european dances...so no comment. as for Capoeira, couldnt we do something like a street, hip hop, and/or bboy style dances? cuz poplock is just soo...out there but yes lets fix the flourishes first
