Refer to my past posts and read the 6 basic steps to aliases for entertainers... should answer some of your questions.

Okay, using a macros guide that was posted on here the other day, I am now well on my way to being a macro master. I have combat macros (3 of them) that cover a wide variety of scenarios. I have heal macros (I'm a combat medic) that go to the pane where my meds are, use one of the meds, and then bring up the diagnostic screen so I can see what my next heal needs to be.

My question - how can I make a macro that will use an item in the bottom slot of a toolbarPane? What I mean by that is, you normally have 12 toolbarSlots across the top, but if you drag down, you get a second set of slots on that pane.

I tried /ui action toolbarSlot12 (13, 14 etc...) but it didn't seem to work.

Is there another modifier I'm not aware of?

Thanks very much!

/ui action toolbarSlot12 is shift+f1 (or the 2nd line just under f1) and toolbarSlot23 is shift f12

I guess I'll try it again. Maybe I had a typo the first time.

Thanks!

Could you link me to a macro writing guide? I have yet to find a good macro guide that lists the various commands and whatnot. I tried to find this post you speak of to no avail..

Actually i've just continued the numbering top row is 1-12 and bottom continues on with 13- works fine. I tried at first putting control in but it did not work so I just tired the 13- and it works great. I have one macro that switches out a full set of cloths and a full set of armor with one click. takes up a row and a half. So it crosses over.
