Yet another problem we face, please take a peek at this thread, my roommate made it in the entertainer board, but I'm sure a lot of the elites don't take a ton of time to look there...

wow...i dont know about anyone else but yes, it scares me....SL being able to do that in the field is fine because i didnt become an entertainer to tag along on missions just to watch and then heal in camps...i did it for the fun friendly atmosphere in the cantinas....so on top of our biggest problem (imho) AFK entertainers, we now have SLs who can do our job....hrrrmmm it just doesnt seem right to me

Well, if we have a huge influx of SLs with Leadership 4 invading the cantinas, then I may be worried.

I would also be concerned if SLs heal BF.

I would also be concerned if SLs didn't endure wounds, necessitating the use of a medic's skill and some downtime.

I would also be concerned if a Master SL can give a +50% buff to Mind, Focus, or Willpower.

When those things are implemented, wake me up so I can properly worry. As it is, it requires several boxes of xp to do the same thing as a Novice Entertainer, and it either takes longer or requires advanced resources (i.e., having a Doctor on hand).

Color me unworried.

Love Star Wars, but the few role-players I could find on the servers were outnumbered by powergamers who wanted only l337 l00t and mad skillz. I can't justify paying $15 a month to play a game by myself.
Still cares enough to interject an opinion, though.

How exactly is this a threat? The SL incurred wounds to all 3 HAM bars and still wasn't able to completely cure the problem in one try.

There is still a major slice of the game reserved for entertainers - not just healing BF and mind wounds (without getting wounded ourselves, btw), but also buffing Mind and entertaining at social functions. I haven't seen an SL in a flesh wrap doing Exotic lately, and I suppose I'll wait til I do before I worry

Meanwhile, there ARE other issues that concern me with entertainers. I only hope that our territory is more clearly staked out as the Devs work at balancing the professions.

first time i did it it healed 600 mind wounds on the guy it gave me about 100 wounds in every catigory. since we had a few medics in the group we just healed everyones action and health wounds and did boost moral again now i had 25 mind wounds and the guy that was diseased had 50 again we healed action and health and did it again!! now we are wound free.

I am far more ambivalent about the implication in that post that repeated renderings of that squad leader command will also heal the mind wounds of the squad leader incurred in their healing of others. That makes it practically limitless, 'free' and takes away a level of uniqueness from our own 'elite' profession.

Not that I am necessarily outright against this ability in the squad leader, but some value was removed from our own professions without recompense.

Barbercat maybe you could go post in the original thread, as I'd like to direct discussion there from Musicians AND Dancers, as this concerns us all.

And to note, BF??? Read what it does in the Holocron. It ONLY makes you harder to heal. Doesn't make you miss, nothing. So with this SL Ability, which seems to completely ignore BF when healing... That doesn't matter anyways. AND people who clone don't get BF much at all...

Anyways, please post in the original thread.

It is the first real step to getting rid of the entertainer class.

I'm a master SL. Let me explain how boost morale works:

Boost morale totals up all the POOL (health, action, mind, not secondary) wounds of a given type in the group, and then redistributes the wounds among the whole group. If the total mind pool wounds of the group was 1000 and there were 10 members, there would be 100 mind wounds on everyone in the group after a use of boost morale.

However, there is bug that prevents pets of all types from gaining or losing wounds due to boost morale. This means if you have undamaged pets grouped, you can eventually get rid of all of your pool wounds, because the pets are allocated wounds but they never receive (or lose) them. If your pet is wounded, the wounds of the group will migrate towards that level of wounds.

Boost morale does NOT work on secondary wounds. It does NOT affect BF. It can only 'cure' pool wounds.
