I hope it isn't just me, but when I ask otherdancers, I don't hear similar stories.

Anyway, for the past week or so Entertainment Healing XP has slowed to a crawl for me. I have maxed my Dancing XP and would qualify for Master, but I am getting nowhere on my last two boxes of Entertainment Healing.

Healing XP used to come in bushelfuls. It has definitely slowed for me.

I did make a mistake early in the game and did not advance Healing Levels when I reached them. At one point I thought I would be happy with any Exotic dance, so only spent skill points on Dancer's Knowledge. I 'm sure I was stuck on some level of Entertainment Healing for quite awhile. After I realized that the Exotic I and II only had 2 flourishes, I went back and started for Master. I was moving nicely until last week, and now I'm lucky to get 5-10K Entertainment Healing for an evening of dancing (2-3 hours, almost never AFK).

Also, last night and again tonight, I got a weird burst of amazing healing XP (6, 11, 32, 1194, 654, 386, 6, 11 or something similar). No one amazingly hurt walked in, and I was in a large group both times. Then back to the usual very slow bumps (I'm getting roughly 100 dance xp per bump in the large groups using exotic II and lots of flourishes).

I'm on Sunrunner, and I dance in Coronet and Anchorhead, which have to be the busiest cantinas in the galaxy.

I'm not really complaining. I've loved the game, and I've enjoyed the dancing/flirting/talking. I'm just curious. Did something change? Or is to something with my character only?

I've alsow had weird burst happen to me one was over 2k of xp so I guesse I can't complain

I have not ever seen this happen myself. Hm... odd... we should keep an eye on this and see if we notice anything strange happening.

I've had times where I watch people being healed by the group, but I am getting no healing xp for them. I've also verefied they get no benefeit from me.. Their wounds were healing way to slow and the other entertainer was still working on the entertainer branch and I am a master dancer. I think there is some bugs there.

I've gotten some of these brief healing xp jumps as well (though not nearly so dramatic - my best was around 600 or so I think).

I *think* that I'm noticing those happen when someone in the cantina, who is already listening/watching the entertainers suddenly takes out one of their pets that has received some mind wounds. I've never been able to target the pets fast enough to tell, but my guess is that perhaps we are healing the pets' mind wounds all in one round, hence the overly large healing xp for just a moment.

It's just a guess, but as far as I can tell, I've only seen the jumps happen right after someone takes out a pet in the cantina.

I'm happy to see a few replies to this thread.

My healing xp has dropped to almost nothing in the past 2 weeks. For most of my dancing time, I was getting much more healing xp than dance xp. About 2 weeks ago, it slowed dramatically. I earned 6k of healing xp in an hour of dancing in Coronet on Sunrunner tonight.

It could be that people are being healed in other places - pa halls, outposts. It could be that there are so many high level dancers that wounds are healed very quickly. It might be that people are cloning more regularly.

A CSR responded quite promptly to my service request and said that he knew of nothing new, and that perhaps my early bounty of xp was an exploit (I really doubt this; it went on for nearly a month and a half, and it was certainly nothing that I was doing. I have been using the exact same routines for a very long time - I just change the /startdance part when I learn a new dance (which was a very long time ago!)

I'll keep plugging once in awhile. I wanted to see my character do the limbo move in the higher exotics.

But the incredibly slow pace is making me try other things.

There seem to be plenty of dancers still going, and I have to wonder why others aren't having the same problems I am. It's going to take me twice as long to get the last two boxes as it took me to get all the rest combined.

I believe these huges amounts of xp come from server or player lag. The healing xp is on a low priority or something... so you will notice several "dancing xp" messages without any healing xp. And then boom, 1100 healing xp. What you should have earned over the past 10 ticks is given out all at once.

I did experience something similar the other night in the Theed Cantina on Naritus - the EH xp I was getting was normal for the crowd, but then I got a huge surge of 4,126 EH experience. It was a one time thing it seemed, since it dropped back down to normal afterward.

Too many AFK dancers...

If you have a Master Dancer (or a high lvl novice) who is AFK in cantina, you wont attract customer's attention so you can level...

You can't blame the customer... he gets healed faster without the expectation of a tip...
