Thread: Tripping on clothing
Hi sweeties, I have a question for you.
Has anyone else noticed that if you wear long dresses, skirts or robes you tend to trip on your clothing ?
I'm still a novice dancer, can do basic 2 and rhythmic 2 and I have entertaining healing 3 and I like to wear fancy clothes.
I bought a nice Administrator robe to suit my hair and skin color and I think it looks nice on me, but when I started to dance in it I saw that I stepped on the robe and kept falling down all the time ![]()
My friend gave me an exlusive gown which makes me look stunning and all other dancers complimented me for it and since my friend has the same dress in the same color it would be nice if we could do a act in these expensive (5000 credits each) dresses, but when I tried to dance in it I kept stepping on and tripping over my dress ![]()
What is the use in all those nice clothes if you only fall down dancing in them ? Are they for walking around only, just to make me pretty when I'm not performing ?
This tripping on clothes makes poor little me very sad ![]()
I trip all the time, and you can bet I'm not in a dress.

But I noticed that my falling down was caused by my Administrator robe, I stepped on the robe and tried to keep my balance before I fell on my bottom ![]()
And I fell down more often then when I wear my Leotard or other piece of clothing which can be stepped on while dancing.
Are there higher level dances where I can safely wear a dress or robe, a dance like Formal perhaps ?
It's totally random. People in open vests and hot pants fall just as frequently as people in robes and dresses.
You may have looked at the animation and assumed that the long skirt was to blame but that's just an artifact of the falling animation.
