If you mean one player who had both masteries... no. The only better buff from them would be that they could perform both mind buffs for you in one stop The skill that modifies the buff is Dancing Mind Enhancement and Music Mind Enhancement, so they don't really have an effect on one another. Master Entertainer also doesn't affect one's buffing

What I am asking.... can i buff the mind with dancing to a certain point and then after the dancing mind buff, can I buff the mind more as a master muscian?

Ah, I see you have a common misunderstanding about Dancer/musician buffs hon. Dancers buff the "Mind" stat. Musicians buff the "Focus" and "Willpower" mind secondaries. So, yep, you can do both, its just the two professions buff different parts of the mind

Best buff is 100% increase to BASE stats, duration for 2 hours. I believethat with faction bonus you can increase that 100% to 105%or 110%, but I'm neutral so am not able to test that.

Musicians don't buff minds. They buff secondaries.

I can't attest to faction buffs being higher either,although I am covert.

What Calyndra said is correct for masters. You can give a faction buff if both members are overt. Dancers tend not to be overt since this is not a very "healthy" way to play the game

ok i did a mind buff to some one i am only a Dancer 3,2,1,2. I gave him an 8 min buff and I buffed this person 100% of there mind for 2 hours. What is the point of going master Dancer if I can buff the same as them?

I've done quite a few non-master dancer buffs, and none were ever at 100%. It must have been a bug maybe?

At master you can buff their stats(which stats depending on if you are a dancer or musician) by 100% for 2 hours. You can *always* buff for 2 hours, it is just the size of the buff increases with skill.

you can tell exactly how much you can buff by by looking at your Dancing and/or Music enhancement mods. So, if your mod is +40, then you can buff their mind for up to 2 hours by 40%.

You can increase it past 100% though. With skill tapes you can add up to +25 to dancing and/or music mind enhancement. That lets you buff up to 125%.

Second, you can increase the buff by yet another 25% if you are factioned(imperial or rebel), *overt*, and buffing another member of your faction(I'm not sure if the person you are buffing has to be overt or not, but the dancer/musician does have to be overt).

So, with skill taps and factional bonuses, it is possible to buff by up to 150% for 2 hours at master level
