Thread: So.. whatever happened to those new flourishes/ flourish fixes?

New dance on the way, no word on old flourishes. My bet is it's too late, they probably never motion captured a full set of flourishes for the exotics. It's ok in my book if they want to focus on new dances rather than fill in the old ones. I'd rather not have them try to hand animate any.
Let's see? One new dance after well over a year vs six dances that are badly broken or unfinished, more if you include the absolutely crappy hand animated flourishs. Doesn't sound like such a good deal to me.
And I could use your help. Can anyone track down a dev post where they said the hand animated flourishes would be replaced? Indirect statements such as from Correspondents count; it would help me with a more focused search on the corr forum.

We grouped and he killed them in about 2 hits each and I was able to loot them....
...There is no possible way for a non-combat person like myself to complete these quests solo.

I've brought the issue up on the corr forum in the past and not gotten an answer. I'll give it another shot.

I just left you a list in the Corr forum. Plus a couple of other Dev posts on old issues.
Sorry, guess I wasn't clear. I wasn't stating whether I was happy with the rate of content additions for dancers. I'm merely stating that if new content comes in the form of new dances rather than finishing old dances, that's fine with me. I can understand that it may be hard or impossible to get the original talent in to motion capture additional flourishes for a dance they performed two years ago.
As for them not doing anything for us, maybe they're not doing stuff for us specifically...but they're killing hologrinding, they've promised to remove recursive macros (bye bye AFK and buffbots) and they're adding new interactive missions which give as a reward a new dance/song/instrument. Certainly they could be doing more, especially in the way of communication, but in my opinion, things are looking up compared to six months ago.
Hate to be the voice of optimism in a land of pessimism, but there it is.

Yeah, i'm not a happy camper around here today. The new Force Sensitivity process really pissed me off, since non-combatants are required to fight in order to gain access to the Village. What horrible game design. This new thing that they've spent sooooooooooo much time on barely even involves us. It's not right.
