I've been adding the lack of Entertainer FS Quests to the Publish 10 bug threads since they started them. If you would like a Jedi, and are an Entertainer, please voice your opinion on the matter, so I don't look like I'm just a lone whiner.
I have not received a single reply from a Dev, as to whether it's a bug or it's intended that we nothing to do upon entering the Village.
Sorry folks, we're running out of time.
I've done the best I can.
Looks like we lose out.
gg, Devs. Remember that whole "improving communication with your player community"thing? Yeah, we're part of the community too.
I would imagine that an entire playstyle's Quest NPC's not spawning could be a major problem on TC. Do I hear anything back regarding this serious concern in the Publish 10 bug threads? Of course not! Makes perfect sense to me!
We're getting the shaft. And we are not the only ones.
I tried putting this into the bug thread to get some answers, I really did, and I failed to make a Dev so much as blink so it would seem. I wish I could have done more. Sorry, folks.
The question: Are there Force Sensitive Quests for Entertainers?
The Devs' answer: N/A (too busy to bother with the likes of us is all I can conclude)

Hey War. I think you're setting yourself up for defeat, there are several professions that got left out of the loop. Don't burn yourself out on the dumb decissions the devs have a habit of making...

No, not base professions. There were6 original base professions. Scout and Entertainer are the only two that you can not quest as in the village.
Politicians are beingleft out here too, but they were added later and it looks like the Devs still aren't sure where they fit in with the game. It may be that they will always be Martyrs suffering for their Cities while they reap no actual benefit or gameplay options themselves.
I don't love that plan for Pols, so I sure as heck don't like it for Ents. We should bemore fun and more successful live than we are as AFK Bots. Leaving us out of huge content additions like this just furthers the idea that we are only meant to be an "alt" profession and might as well be supplementedby NPCs.
If you think we have an interest in Questing for our FS Bonuses as Ents just like Medics are being given to quest for theirs as Medics and Artisans are able to quest for theirs as Artisans, go let the Devs know.
I do ask that you not actually attack the Dev Team though. These are valid complaints, but will be ignored if they seem to be coming in as personal attacks.

Yeppers, scout based professions, entertainer based professions, and politician are completely left out. You could argue merchant and squad leader too but they have to have some artisan and combat skills respectively so they are "kinda covered".
And I agree with Panthu, I don't like it because, if anything, it seems to encourage the idea that any profession type other than medic, combat, or crafter is just a supplimental one and not one that can stand on its own two feet.
Entertainers get hit hardest though, especially pure entertainers, because we literally have no way to earn our FS boxes. Scouts at least have to have some soft of combat, so they can do that. But we are the only profession type who doesn't have any means to get our FS abilities by using our profession skills O.o It really makes me feel like an afterthought

Well, I've said all I have to say about this.
You all know my opinion, and the Devs' lack of response with the situation speaks volumes about our place in this game from their perspective. In other words, they're completely indifferent about whether or not we get to have what pretty much every other playstyle in this game gets - an opportunity to obtain a Jedi.
Even if we get something later, that will actually let us unlock our Jedi, we'll be at a HUGE disadvantage versus all the other professions who will have a huge head start on their Force Sensitivity.
As it stands, not sure if people realize this, we can only get 2/3 of the way through the Force Sensitivity process. Then we'll have to pick up a crafting, medic, or combat profession to complete the unlock process by completing the appropriate profession quest. Then, and only then, once the quest is complete will we unlock our Jedi character.
We were told we would not have to change our template in order to gain a Jedi in this game.
I declare shennanigans on the Devs.
Peace.

So, disclaimer that I haven't been on TC and I don't know much about how the quests work.
However, this type of update note has me worried:
"FS Quests: Changed requirement for Medic Puzzle to be Master Medic."
If we need to finish specific quests, and those quests force you to be master something you're not, that's bad.

Yep.
The hologrind isn't dead.
Entertainers get to keep the Hologrind alive, even it's just barely breathing. Yay.
Okay, now I'm REALLY done with this. I simply can't muster the energy anymore. I've tried to get word on what the deal is with this to no avail. No Dev response.
May the Force be with you, always. Unless you're an Entertainer.

I completely agree with you aboutForce Sensitivity. After complaining, we did get force sensitive abilities. Useless as they are, at least it's something, I suppose. Similarly, I feel we should have a quest that allows us to unlock the boxes that will give us those force sensitive abilities. It basically sucks because we have to drop something and pick up novice medic, which I am not too keen on doing. Who knows, I never really decided whether I was going to pursue this or not. But, the option should be there if I wanted to. And, I always felt like just because I may not necessarily want something does not mean I should just let it slide when it's the unfairness of it is staring me right in the face.
On the other hand, I'll come down on the side of not caring that we can't get all 24 points needed to actually become Jedi. IMO, Jedi are basically a combat class, and I think it makes total sense that if we want to become Jedi then we need to actively start thinking about doing combat. I think that's a valid assumption and has its proper place in doing the Jedi thing. Because, after all, if one of us does decide to go beyond Force Sensitivity and go full fledged Jedi, we're gonna end up having to drop some or all of the entertaining to do so.
I suppose an argument can be made that we want to unlock the extra slot and have the extra slot do the Jedi thing while keeping all of our entertainer skills. But, again, I tend to pick and choose my battles, and I have too many battles on my plate as it is, so I'm gonna let this one slide. LOL (The Jedi part, not the force sensitivity part)

Thanks for trying, Warryyr!
Keep up the good work.
I don't post much but now I'm really sad I can't get my Jedi.
I'm Master Dancer, Master Entertainer, Master Musician, and a little Image Designer.
I can't do anything in the Village I guess, and I was hoping to get a free Jedi alt who I could make only combat.
This stinks, I hate the Devs.
I just found about all of this, and it stinks something fierce. What a rotten way to treat us!
Anyways, thanks for trying so hard to get some response about all this. I guess the Force won't be with me since I'm an Entertainer.
This game has problems.
