I don't think it was in the patch notes for TC either. I think it was only mentioned in an earlier announcement of upcoming changes. Sometimes some of the fixes don't make it in the patch notes 'til sometime later (remember the theater quest?). Don't know if it's because they don't consider them "finalized" or if some of the changes don't receive official "clearance" for notification until later...

Notes on that fix have been consistently left out of the announcements on this patch. As much work as they put into getting this to a presentable form, I can't see them pulling it at the last minute when testers have already confirmed with them that it is good. So yeah
base dances! No more falls! W00T!
(scurries off to the office with plans of leaving as early as possible!)
So it looks like we'll have to wait a bit to get people "rofling" at us while performing the base dance of theatrical1
edit: *me typing to slow*
You're kidding me? The base dance fix bug is actually fixed? Wooot!

Actually it was on the TC notes, or it has been, but it happened that the fix was 10 times worst than the problem... (was causing massive synchronisation problems, huge difference between what's seen bye the dancer and by the watcher and stuff...)

The spinning of avatars that was sending us all over the place after the first attempt at a fix has been corrected. We owe a HUGE thank you to Scipionus, Ravenmist and Tiaga for pushing this through for us!
The only thing we'll "lose" in the correction of the base dance problem (that we've found)is the ability to rotate our avatars using either the mouse or numpad buttons. However, we can still accomplish this using emotes. Maybe this can be changed in the future. But at any rate, we've got some new cool stuff to play with! ![]()
