I did a search on this and only came accross how TC had one position, but TC5 had 3 transitions per breakdance.
Is there a way to do the transitions for breakdancing on the Live Server yet?
Thanks for your help as I cannot figure out how to do it yet if it IS possible.

What exactly do you mean by 'the transitions'? Transitions into what?

Especially because the moves on the floor look far better then the ones standing.
Give us the breakdance transition command!

With the new dance - breakdance there are 3 "modes" I guess you can call them for each dance. One is the default standing mode, another os a crouching mode and the third is a floor mode. Eash one has its own flourishes and everything. The transition I speak of is the move that takes you from one mode to the other. And it isn't seperate dances either. The berakdancing video shows these transitions and all flourishes.

The break dance on TC, TC5 or anywhere never had the transitions displayed in that video. The dance the video portrays cannot be danced using the current system. The current system only supports 8 flourishes per dance. The break dance video contains 3 'positions', 8 flourishes per position, 6 transitions (1->2, 2->3, 2->1, 2->3, 3->1, 3-2) and 3 taunts. It was never danceable in this configuration. The video was made on 26th August 2004, long long before the dances even appeared on any of the test servers. Clicky.

I assume the vid was done by a Dev and they can trigger the flourishes and falls and all of it manually I guess. Kinda sucks.
What sucks especially is, that if the video was really made in August 2003, that means this dance was finished for over one and a half year before they decided to give it to us.
Wonder what else is "ready and in the shelf" to just throw to us, to silence us once more

Well, that sucks. I see this video, the dance looks cool... AND WE CAN'T DO IT??? Breakdance as it is right now is absolutlely NOT breakdancing. It's just dancing. I'd really like to hear from a dev or the correspondant reguarding this issue so at least we can know for sure what is up.

With luck they will continue to add dances they have captured animations for. This may result in a breakdance 3 and 4 for all we know. Send feedback, tell em we want them.

Ahh OK, I understand now.
I always thought of myself as a knowledgable and experienced dancer so when everyone but me started talking about "transitions" -- something I have never heard of before -- I began to wonder... But if Pickles never heard of them before either, then I know it's not just me, since he's one of the most knowledgable members of our community.

I agree - I think the other positions on that video are future dances that have not been added yet, like there are several versions of exotic. There were a whole bunch of dances people pulled vids of the tre files (I assume) that we have not seen or heard hint of yet.
Here is the link to the vidoes

I don't know how long the dance had been hanging around before it was made available. Although I guess it was plenty long enough. It wasn't a year and a half probably, I didn't mean 2003 but you beat me to the edit.
As for what else exists that has not been pushed to us, that's too long a list to even begin describing. Perhaps I am just cynical, but my guess is they just leave it there until we get restless then they unlock it and wow us enough that we then shut up for a while.
