Thread: Are New Dances Granted At The Wrong Levels?

Ok, first I noticed an XP problem with the new music, so I checked out the XP on the new dances and found a problem there too. The problem seems to be that the new dances are granted at the wrong skill levels. I checked this on TC and verified that the dances are being given at the skill levels listed, so it doesn't appear to be a simple typo. Here's what I found with each level (XP is per first tick):
Dance Knowledge I:
Popular2 - 25 XP
Tumble - 35 XP
Dance Knowledge II
Poplock2 - 31 XP
Tumble2 - 39 XP
Dance Knowledge III
Lyrical - 35 XP
Breakdance - 25 XP
Dance Knowledge IV
Exotic1/2 - 39 XP
Breakdance2 - 31 XP
So either the XP granted needs to be adjusted for each of the new dances or they need to be moved so that Breakdance is granted at DK1, Breakdance2 at DK2, Tumble at DK3, and Tumble2 at DK4. The devs might want to look into this or Novice Dancers might gain XP faster than they were meant to.

Uhg, looks like they swapped the Tumble and Breakdance for some reason then. Bummer, I thought it was really cool that all the "club style" dances were coming by Dance Kno2.

They did indeed.
My TestCenter toon is dancer 0021 and she could only dance breakdance the first few days we were testing it.
Then suddenly that didn't work anymore. Took me to minutes to find out what was wrong.

Well, take into consideration the XP we receive from thequest Threatrical dance . . . .
I'm not sure the XP gains were thought completely out. Hopefully these dancescan be switched easily with a mini patch.It has little effect onmasters, but novices need a steady increase in XP as they move up the DK branch. It already takes too long to dance through those boxes as it is . . . .

Seems there are a couple of anomalies with the xp gain for the new songs too. But yeah..looks like they got switched out when applied to the DK branch.

The dance issue is minor compared to the music ones. They both need fixing though.
