Ok... eerie thing just happened to me...
I am dancing Exotic 4, flourishes 3 6 and 8, and on my realplayer, "Stretched at your Grave" came on by "Dead can Dance"...
The combination was so beautifull... and frightning how well the dance and the song meshed... For the first time in so very long I got that feeling of being sublimely in synch...
"I am streatched on your grave,
and will lie there forever,
with your hands held in mine,
I'll be sure we'll not sever,
my apple tree, my brightness,
'tis time we were together,
for I smell of the earth,
and am slain by the weather
When my familty thinks,
that I'm safe in my bed,
from night untill morning,
I am streatched at your bed,
calling out to you,
with tears both hot and wild,
all my grief for the girl,
that I loved as a child,
The preists and the Fryers,
Behold me in dread,
Because I still love you,
My love, andyou're dead
And would still be your shelter,
from rain and from storm,
one with you in the cold grey earth,
I cannot sleep warm..."
the synergy was... profound.

a lot of 'Dead Can Dance' songs are like that... slow and lyrical with strong undercurrents in the base string sections...
I'd suggest downloading the song using limewire or some such program as it's all but impossible to find their albums unless you live in a major city like New York, Sacramento or SanFransisco.

/hi5 you two! Tis a great song. ![]()
I tend to play live365.com stations while I dance. 99.9 (the electric front) plays alot of fun songs to dance to.

If you can't find the Dead Can Dance version of Stretched at Your Grave, look for the Sinead O'Connor version. Hers is a great version of that song, as well. It's a bit more powerful sound than the Dead Can Dances' rendition.

Thats cool, I know that the exotic dance goes real well with HIM also, they have that kind of depressed darker sound about them
