Thread: No need to worry about CM's new mind healing

After testing this with a guildie. Cm's are taking massive mind wounds for healing mind damage (great for getting ent healing xp off the cm though)

Our cm had 400 mind wounds and 400 bf after only 2 mind heals. She said she wouldn't be using it except in extreme situations as the costs were not worth the wounds she took.

Looks like we still have our jobs as wound healers.

On an unrelated (kinda) subject, Guild mates reported to me that while I was dancing in a camp healing mind wounds, their battle fatigue was also healing. I don't recall this being mentioned in the patch notes. but it can be taken as great news to those of us that do go out with our friends, or bad news for those that prefer the cantina scene.

That would be bad news indeed, if BF could be healed outside cantinas or private structures...

Even if CM got no wounds at all to heal the mind pool , entertainers would not lose their job....

Healing astat poolis different than healing this particular stat wounds...

Actually, sounds like a golden opportunity to farm healing xp...

mind buff
image design and have them heal you till they have 100% mind wounds and BF
dance

better than sampling radioactives since they don't have to mess up their HA

I think the major fear among the entertainers that I talk to is that they were worried that most CM's would just take novice entertainer, heal mind damage in the field, then go and heal their own (and their parties) mind wounds in camp.

If that happened that would have pretty much made master musicians and dancers good really only for buffs and party entertainment. I would have dramatically cut down on tips, and people visiting the cantina.

but as most cm's take such heavy mind wounds themselves they won't want to waste the time healing the wounds with sw1 or basic dance in camp (at least the few i've talked to have expressed this sentiment.)

Were's the edit key when you need it?

I meant to say that It would have cut down on tips (not I would have as I'm a dancer and heal myself)

Anways, it seems that in camp I heal about 90% of the total battle fatigue (from 400 to 40, and from 90 to 9) so we can't heal ALL of it, but still a good portion of it.

i've posted something related before the patch went live, but let me rephrase it again:

CMs will NOT be able to just "pick up novice entertainer and heal themselves" out in the field. each /healmind causes 40+ wounds depending on your substats/BF, and on my last krayt hunt, it takes several entertainers a good while between each krayt before i clear my mind wounds and start again. CMs also cannot heal their own mind.

if you have any more doubts, i would gladly demonstrate /healmind for you on TC.

400 stat wounds is way off. Im MCM myself. My Mind stats are 1000/500/900 and with 0 BF. Now when I heal someones mind I get 9 BF and 40 wounds on each stat. But it only takes 10 seconds for it to all drop back to 0 if I'm listening/watching a Master Dancer/Musician

I don't get hurt hardly at all when healing a mind.

It sure does come in handy too.

Since entertainers in general do not want to go adventuring (the fact that my dancer is also a pistoleer and people freak out to have me in the group really highlights this point well) I have no idea why entertainers got so upset.

The biggest problem with this game right now is that everyone gets upset when any other class gets improved and wants them to be nerfed.

People need to stop worrying about the other class and how other people play and just have fun.
