I don't usually speak, and this is a bit off topic, but I think it's important to our community.I'd like to request that people try to be a little nicer on the dancer forum. There seems to be a lot of flaming involved, and I want to remindeveryone that there are a lot of different culturespresent here that aretrying to interact, and to try to be tolerant of that condition.Manyissues presented by this profession are very important topeople in real life, so everyone must try to be patient when discussing those issues. I think everyone knows which issues they are.

Please be polite! Insultingother people doesn't change anyone's opinion. It's just cruel. The folks you'retalking down to are real people, andtheir feelings will be hurt, and that will make the world just a little bitdarker. Please don't be nasty. Be logical, be argumentative, but don't make it a personal attack on their mental abilities or their lifestyle.A game isn't worth it.Please?

Thanks for reading.

I resolve to make more of an effort to be civil.

I used to think this way. My resolve has been broken over the past 5.5 months and I'm just getting down right peeved at all of it. Why? Because it's only getting worse because people aren't making a stand.

Civility requires that I sit and absorb the insults that will continue to be thrown on the boards like the recent one I just finished replying to. I'm a sponge that is well beyond saturated.

It's the circumstances that cause the frustration, and the frustration sees the message boards as the avenue for change, so guess who gets the brunt of it? Incidentally, regardless of all the posting on the message boards, not even the smallest move has been made to correct the problem over the past 7 months including the time I was in beta (in the case of my #1 and only heated argument: AFK macroing).

So what am I supposed to do? Just let people tell me that because they didn't want to bother playing their entertainers that, therefore, I didn't and invalidate all of my arguments under the pretense of hypocrisy?

Not this time.

Just to clarify something... I appreciate the attempt to civilize discussions--it is a noble one.I'm just saying that I can only take so much.
