To be honest I don't like the cantinas.. They have some nice features but they have some pretty big lackings... The biggest is the lack of any rooms and the stage being a little small. I like the idea of customizable stages.. But I'll be blunt, speaking as a programmer myself, I don't see any of your proposed ideas as being anywhere in the realm of easy. Still, some very good ideas.

And this is coming as a cantina owner. It's been fun to decorate, and I've been using it to take a stand against AFK macros. So far it has been the most active cantina in the list according to who's registered on the planet as entertaining. Just today there was a time when 4 of the tables had groups sitting at them talking among themselves, there were 2-3 band members and a few dancers. Every single one of them was at the keyboard and active. I'll really be advertising the place once the shuttleport is built. (Right now we're a good 4km hike from the nearest city, Keren)

I have been snooping inside player cantinas and let me say bravo DEVs! There are some things that would make them better though and here are a few ideas.

1.The stage must be extended 1 more tile forward there is simply not enough room for a band to be set up and have a dancer doing formal or lyrical. The larger stage could be a option on the control panel.
2.Better yet allow the owner to design their own stage! Your tile set is a simple 4 tiles as it is. Curved face, flat face, stairs and a whole stage tile. Lets us make our own stage within the “pit” area
3.Make the steps that lead into the “pit” area toggle to facilitate table placement in the bar area. In the off state the steps would be removed leaving a sheer drop off were the top step currently ends.
4.Allow the owner with a paint brush type interface to make entertainer only zones, where if you’re not on the entertainer list you can not enter these areas. If an interface of this type is not plausible at least make a toggle for the stage to be entertainer list only or a free for all. If you implement my design a stage idea then this would be a pretty good deal.
5.There must be a dressing room with its own separate entry list
6.There simply must be more lists, one for people allowed to kick, ban and if my ideas are added add to entertainer list and add to dressing room list. I might trust someone to kick rowdies from my club but not trust them with my clothing in the dressing room or to ban people or to be full admin ect. So we need separate lists for each function because this is a business not a home.
