Are there certain cantinas that are designated non-afk? I was sitting in Theed last night, listening to the afk macro spam, and missing the old Dearic cantina. There is no one to chat-happy-flirt with anymore.

Are there certain cantinas where career-dancers/musicians/entertainers hang out? I have avatars on the following servers: Radiant, Wanderhome, Tempest, Starsider, Bloodfin, Bria, Ahazi, and Flurry.

I would much rather give my wounds (and tips) to a live person rather than an afk-zombie! There are dozens of empty cantinas across the galaxy. Is one of these the super-secret hideout of non-afk dancers? I will jump servers for a chance to be healed by live people, and maybe a little conversation!

well you asked in the right spot, but unfortunately anywhere that is popular to dance has become plagued with afk entertainers. I have been searching around tempest for almost a month now looking for a cantina without an afk entertainer that has a decent amount of traffic. I have found many empty cantina's but they are also in empty towns with no patrons. Ilike dancing but i am not going to dance in an empty cantina for hours on end without a single person coming by.

Any other dancers and musicians on tempest i would like to know if you would want to designate tyrena as an alternate to coronet for the non afk of us. There is plenty of room, a hotel and cantina right across from each other in the northern half of the city and a theatre and another hotel in the southern part of the city. I have been trying to stay there but i can only stay so long before i become bored dancing by myself. My fiancee is going to learn musician so we can practice while no one is there. I really want to put together dance routines tomusic but its hard to do when you dont have a musician.

Hey Vorpaks. Probably the ideal place to ask about this is in the server forums for the servers you primarily play on. I know you said you play on Bria sometimes and I believe Bria has an in-game chat channel where the at-keyboard entertainers share information. I apologize for not remembering what it's called, on Intrepid ours was called "NoAFK." You could probably join that channel and ask where the live people are performing.

If you're not sure how to join chat channels, you right click on one of your tabs (like the Spatial tab) and choose "Join channel." That brings up a browser of all the different channels and sub-channels in your galaxy. The overall entertainer channel is probably set up under Galaxy - Chat - then whatever they've named it. There's room for a description too so you can see what it is. Just click on it and then click Join. Then make sure you modify your spatial tab (or whatever tab you're using) to display the text from the channel you just joined (I think it usually does this automatically but hey, it's SOE, you never know!).

Also if the channel is always called the same thing you can usea slash command to automatically join. So if the channel is called "ATK" then you would type "/chat join ATK" and it will automatically join and display for you.

And any time you're on Ahazi, look for members of the LIVE Entertainment guild. Always ATK, no matter what. A lot of our members frequent theBestine cantina, and as we have members from around the world, we have close to 23/7 coverage a lot of the time.

I myself travel a lot to try to spread real entertainment to the reaches of Ahazi... if you drop by, feel free to look me up, and I'll do my best to direct you to some LIVE Entertainment!

Hi, Vorpaks -for your alt on Bria, may I recommend The Bishops' Sanctuary in Veritias, Naboo, north of Theed. It is a player cantina and designated for LIVE entertainment only. While there is no guarantee someone will always be there, you can usually find at least one of about 1/2 dozenentertainers of various levels (from Master Musicanand Dancer to Master Entertainer) online just about every night of the week (players on both coasts of the US) and through the weekend. Do keep in mind that Veritas is a Rebel factioned city and home to True Fellowship Knights . . .

We do have a live entertainer chat on Bria that is simply called "ent" and you can find us under the public chat folder in the chat channel window. We have entertainers with player cantinas on Corellia, Tatooine and Bria and some hearty ents who frequent the NPC cantinas, too! So feel free to stop in the chat or send me a /tell or email anytime!

/chat join ent

whenever you are on Bria, stop in and say Hiya!
