I mastered Dancer and then took a vacation. Here's my problem.

I just don't understand how to buff. My old macro's don't seem to get the max buff. Anyone have a macro to share? I have read most of these posts and still don't get it.

I want to be ready when all the hologrinders poof. I have my songs and stories ready, just need to get the buff thing figured out.

Seems to be a fairly good guide to buffing. I'm just reading it through it right now.

Oh my. With all those numbers that site HAS to know it's stuff.

/cry I'm an artist, not good with numbers.

Just to clarify (having read tons of macro posts) I want a buff macro so I can chat and buff at the same time. If you see Path dancing, she is not afk and not in need of xp. Now if I can figure out how to get that timer thing in this...I won't even need my watch.

/setperform;

/startdance exotic4;

/flo 1;

/pause 2;

/flo 2;

/pause 2;

/ui action toolbarSlot23

Eh? Tear it up guys! I need all the help I can get.

Oh, oh, oh....how do I keep from fainting going that fast? I don't 'suppose there's a food I need or some way to stim myself?

Partially, the cost of flourishes was reduced, but largely, you should max out Quickness [I think that's the right secondary] and carry around enough buffage items to get it over 1000 or so. Someone else may have a better number than me, I typically don't pay attention.

Here is my way to buff:

a)
make sure client is not watching or listening anyone,
best is to let him use /stopwatch and /stoplisten

b)
make sure, that I am not listening or watching, not
that I get a buff in this moment, and so am not able
to buff

c)
start dancing or playing music, with music I dont use
a Nal or the Ommni Box (moveable, disruptable)

d)
tell client to watch or listen, best with unequipped
weapon (clapping animation!)

e)
do /setperform

f)
I start timer, manually (timestamp is your friend) or with
/addalarm, you can also use a /pause 240; /tell Buff is done or
such... I go for 4 minutes, just added time to be sure to give
max time buff

g)
I start my macro:
/flo 1
/flo 1
/flo 1
/flo 1
/flo 1
/pause 8
--repeat macro with either
/macro -name-of-your-macro
or
/ui action ToolbarSlot#
(the usual way, please check my spelling, doing this out of head )

h)
wait for timer, chat, make fun

i)
tell client to /stoplisten or /stopwatch

j)
wait for confirmation that buff is done okey

k)
stop dance or music

Somewhere in between I take care, that I get tipped

Of course this burns action quite fast, I can go without heals
with music, but when I dance, I need either a buff or 1-2 heals.
Most of the time the customer can throw 1-2 heals my way

/cheer Your macro worked perfect. I tried it on a freind and wore enhanced clothes. Max buff. Thank you. I just seem to have the hardest time figuring out those macros. Heck, I tried to buff wothout one and didn't get the max. Seems my one hipp-o-pot-a-mus, two hipp-o-pot-a-mus....is off a bit.
