I bought my droid without knowing what the effects actually looked like and I just wanted 'em all so I ended up with the R3 unit with all six effects.

Storage I would've liked but it didn't fit. I'd guess it's not too important for most entertainer-only people, or even entertainer/combat people. Just my guess.

Modules... well I did get all 6, but I think some of 'em are kinda dumb

Which brings me to your next question... I'd say Not all of them. While it is kinda cool to have all the options, the Avian effect is not my favorite, and the Fog and Bloom look pretty similar if you ask me. I really really love the Jawa effect. Sooo cute! I'd say my faves are the Jawas, the Fog and the Foam.

I don't know much about droids in general so the MSE question I have no clue on. I like the R2 or R3 styles best, they're just cute and lastly, I think I paid around 75k for mine (the R3 with all 6) on Starsider. I really just told the DE to make me one with all the effects. She didn't say anything to me about Playback modules so I don't know what those are.

I love my droid, maybe if I ever get around to getting more info on them (like... what a playback module is ) I'll get another, different one. But this one works

Definitely on a MSE or some other droid. Storage I can get anywhere, but I can't put effects modules in my backpack. Well, not if I expect them to work. =)

I was under the impression that Playback modules could only be used by those with novice Musician. If that isn't true, I think one would be sufficient for me. If that is true, then I wouldn't need any at all as I have no music skills

If not all of them could you please list the 3 effects you most like for a droid ?

Is 15k for a MSE with Storagea fair price?

When I buy MSE storage droids, I typically just buy them on the bazaar. I don't think I'd be willing to pay more than 6k simply for a storage droid unless I was having it custom made in a specific chassis. Obviously, custom work and more complex chassis raise the price based on time and resources.

What body style do you most look for in a droid ?

My favorite look in general is the LE droid, but their lack of module space makes them a poor choice for nearly everything. I generally end up with an R2 or R3. They're compact, easy to place out of the way, and I like the rounded dome much more than the flat top of the other R-series.

This is sort of a tricky question. My first answer is no, I wouldn't pay that much now for a droid with six entertainer modules. On the other hand, that's exactly what I did pay on the day "Droids Rebuilt" launched. I wanted it badly at the time and it was brand new, so I was willing to pay more. Now, however, I'm aware of one droid manufacturer who makes 6-module entertainer droids for around 25k. I only know of one because I stopped shopping around after I found him and now do all of my business there. There may be more, there may not. I'll never know unless the one I found goes out of business.

Personally, I would rather have it on a playback droid. I enjoy having all 6 of the effects in my R3 to give me the choices of which effects I want to use. One that does not appeal to me for one given show might be perfect for another one, and having the option for any of the 6 effects modules is very useful. As a Master Dancer/Entertainer, I could drop one module slot from playback in favor of storage.

How many playback modules do you want on a droid ?

As I would be using a playback droid specifically for music (with a touch of storage), I would want as many as I could get in there for performance uses. For simple songwriting, even just one module is sufficient. In that light, 5 playback modules and 1 storage (for holding instruments when not actively performing, for example) would make an effective music droid for me.

As I said above, I like having all effects options available to me, rather than having to later purchase a new droid if I change my mind. Considering that we seem to have a cap of 5 droids in datapads, I want droids packed to their electronic gills to maximize their usefulness.

Very difficult to say, as economies vary from server to server. I can only tell what I paid for my droids on Ahazi. 45k for an advanced R3 loaded with all 6 effects modules, and 25k for an advanced protocol droid with one playback and one storage module. The latter, whereas not maximizing it's capabilities for the datapad droid slot, was a vanity purchase to have a humanoid droid as my little musician companion... thought it would be an interesting change, and I hadn't seen anyone else do it before.

Remember that entertainers often do not make very much money in this day and age... so even with these points and ideas, I would not rule out stocking your vendor with lower-cost alternatives for the less wealthy entertainer. If I was struggling more for credits, I would much rather have a droid with just a little bit of fun than no droid at all due to pricing beyond my means.

Yes. I use 30 spaces of droid storage regularly.One MSE holds my armor another holds weapons and combat food. I'm called on regularly to tank for krayt parties so having these on me (yet out of the way) means I can dance that much longer rather than having to dig throughmy houses.A third MSE holds extra dance clothes (can't get enough of that).

At present, while my favorite DE is traveling, I'm road testing a effects droid so I can decide which modules I want in the 3 Adv MSEs with storage that he'll be building for me when he's back in game.

I won't be using playback modules. The droids that will be built for me will contain one effect module each.

Right now, I'm inclined toward Jawas and Fog. I don't care for foam at all..reminds me of a washing machine overflowing. I'm undecidedregarding the others.

I've been paying 5k for MSE with 10 space storage for some time. My crafting character gives them as gifts to special customers and they're a great means of passing orders to overt customers since he (Carenzi,my tailor/decorator persona) is neutral.

MSE - they are unobtrusive.

Not applicable to me as I have no use for playback modules therefore no knowledge of their value.

Yes, there is never enough wardrobe space.

2. No. I would rather use the modules slot for something else.

I wouldn't mind a mix of storage and fx.

I think that is a little more than I paid for mine. I think it was 10K. I don't remember.

For fxI prefer a "low-key" frame (i.e. MSE or one of the floating ones)The smaller and more inconspicuous the betterrather than the bulky R2 units.

Note also that the effects droids can't be used by entertainer level entertainers. They require Novice Dancer, not just Novice Entertainer. That's another detail that a lot of people didn't know about.

They're called 'entertainer droids', but they're for the elite professions of entertainer.
