Thread: Do I want to get a cantina? Or just use a large house as both my home and place of buisness

Well I was looking at the lot costs for the cantina, and well really like the large tatooine house and want one.
But since you can heal battle fatigue and buff from a house, and since I have decided to stay totally neutral and independant (no guild or faction), would the large house serve well as both my home and place of buisness?
I also plan to place it outside of any player towns, which if I undersant correctly means no cantina for me anyway.
Just want an opinion from those that have tried this.

The house does have the advantage of having many rooms, which you could set up and decorate based on different themes or purposes. The cantina has the main room and that's it, which kinda stinks really. Would be nice to have a backstage or storage area, but we've been bemoaning this since they were released and there hasn't been any indication that they will ever be redesigned.
If planetary registration worked properly then you might want to consider a cantina. However, since it's all screwy then the cantina really doesn't have much to recommend it. Also, I think that even though the cantina is player placeable (i.e., the mayor doesn't have to drop it), it does have to be in a player city. So if you're not joining a city then it's not an option anyway.

thanks, and yes I am planning on not putting it in a twon. So a large house is my only option.
And I plan to have 2 performance areas. one downstairs, and the other on the balcony.

If you're just planning to invite your friends or pick up private business then your home will work fine. However, if you're interested in "walk ins," easier accessability, and people to be aware of your services by just looking at a planetary map, then you'd want a Cantina.
