Hey Everyone,
I know that the CU is gonna be great, although i have yet to check it out. I just thought id make a proposal on a few things i believe need to be changed up.
Have you ever walked into a cantina to find very few entertainers? Do you ever feel like there are more Mind buffers in houses than cantinas? Ever found it strange that when you saw someone playing an instrument you could not hear them unless you chose to listen? Well I think to keep the life of the cantina going, some changes need to be made.
1. NPC entertainers should be placed in ALL cantinas. Giving the option for players to take the NPC's spot and play the same song/do the same dance with eachother for a round ( a round consisting of a time period that one player can hold a spot, allowing other players to have their chance at playing live in the cantina). These Entertainers will be heard wether you click to listen to them or not, giving the cantina more of the Live Star Wars feel.
2.Make it so that mind buffs are better/more efficient when given in a cantina, allowing players to give entertainer buffs from anywhere they choose, but less efficiently than those given from the cantina.

yeah i kinda wrote this in a rush. And I originally posted it on my Galaxies forum but they recommended i post it here. but When i said to instate NPC trainers i meant so that there was always music to be heard wether you were chose to or not, but i didnt mean that people couldnt still dance or play music and get xp or heal bf, i just wanted to propose an idea which would allow entertainers to grab ahold of their role a little more and get involved. I have no intention of proposing an idea which would make entertainers useless. I just would like to see entertainers get more into their SW role.
thanks for your feedback, i really appreciate it!
Ahhhh...now I see better.
One problem would be the Mos Eisley/Jabba's palace issue. Currently there is environmental music in these locations, but if one adds their own music it becomes a melange of gooey sounds. Adding to them would be cool....but then there is no real skill needed to do that. Great for RP tho.
As to the posting here....anything doing with cantinas is great here...and music and entertaining. But the sections on other stuff should be broken up and posted in those forums. Hey it ups your post count.

What if you could also take over the bartender postion temporarily and sell foods to players as they came to the cantina to rest?
Did talking to citizens of cities always set you in a position to take an item to someone in which the reward was less than the money you would get when you sold a CDEF pistol on the bazaar? I wouldnt think so...here are some things that could be added to cantinas and towns.
1. Conversations with NPCs are probably the most dull thing you'll ever do in SWG. wouldnt it be nice if you could squeeze information out of them, persuade them into giving you the answer to a question, or just give you the 411 on something. What if Bounty Hunters could talk to a Citizen in the cantina and take a bounty from them or get info on a bounties location? What if smugglers could take transportation missions, to transport goods for someone? What if you needed some assistance and none of your friends were on? Would it be nice if you could talk to NPC for multiple reasons other than petty missions? Perhaps selling your goods to an NPC or hiring a mercanary or just playing a good game of Sabacc? Possibilies are endless...kinda
2. What if you could just have a conversation with an NPC. Maybe even affect the way the NPC looks and acts towards, wether or not theyre willing to give you what Number 1 states could be added.
Ever found your role in GCW to be weak, not meaningful, pure combat 24/7 and base raids all its made up to be? No...not really. Although I like the changes, I still feel there is much more missing.
1. (Imperial) What if you could talk to a recruiter and be issued a set of Stormtrooper armor and set to do Patrol Missions? And actually be able to do a Thorough search on players, actually set the Imperial Crackdown...to actually crackdown.
2. (Rebel) What if you could talk to a recruiter and be issued Marine armor and set out on Rebel Rescue missions, in which you set out with a task force to rescue endangered members of the alliance.
3. What if GCW was integrated heavily with space? Perhaps you could launch into space and set your target to a Imperial Star Destroyer, as the Imperials Fought outside the ship trying to keep countless numbers or Alliance ships from taking down the Star Destroyer, other players could be inside, either rebels docking ships and loading into the ship to destroy shield generators and plant bombs of sorts, imperials could be working hard to repair and maintain the ship as well as gaurd it from the inside.
These are just a few ideas i pulled off the top of my head. Please give your 100% honest opinion, maybe these ideas could influence future changes to the game!
