Few notes from the "grind".

As it stands on live, even with bots taking much of the EH xp from starting out entertainers, it's still very fast to get from 0000 ent xxx4 ent, generally you'll have enough xp for EH4 by the time you're working on dance 3 or early in dance 4. Often times on live now you have enough XP for 2 boxes of fatigue healing by the time you get enough dance xp for novice dancer.

On CU I had enough xp for novice dancer before I had EH4... but only by a few minutes. The ONLY reason I got up to EH4 was because I had my alt go into space and eject repeatedly until BF was capped then come down and listen and watch the group. Out of the 41k EH xp needed for EH4, approximately 15% came from sources other than my alt. So had I not used an alt to suicide I'd be getting enough dance xp for novice dancer while I was still working on EH2, maybe just getting EH2, starting on EH3... Apparently BF is only generated by cloning and dying in space. No BF is generated by wounds earned in combat. So unless you have people suiciding for your EH xp, the grind on live will be.... torturous at best. Add to this the max group size of 8, where you could easily concievably have 2 groups fighting over the EH xp, that doubles that time again.

And before anybody asks, yes I did afk for part of this time. I really don't want to hear how bad we all think this is, we really don't have time to be all prideful in the face of these awful changes. My report frommy time afk is as follows: I went to bed having just learned EH2 and dance 2, had banked some EH xp waiting for dance to finish so EH3 had a good head start on dance 3, and infact Ihad quite a bit ofEH xp when I trained, I had about 1000-2000 EH xp and only a few hundred dance xp when I went to bed. When I woke up dance xp had been long capped at 30000, and EH xp was around 6000-7000 if I recall... Either way my dance xp was GREATLY outpacing my EH xp. Granted I afked in cnet last night, perhaps not the best choice, but my experience today on tatooine around mos espa and bestine showed that it wouldn't have made much difference either way, other than my suiciding alt, not much other xp was to be had from others (well one other person had a suiciding alt too, but I'm not counting that, suicide should not be the only reasonable way we have to gain xp.)

fyi the frogs heal wounds and most of the / abilities are useable by everyone so even with no docs /healwound still works...

Also of note I saw a Fencer Trainer... the advanced trainers may have been dropped...

Yes, the advanced trainers are missing while they "focus" testing on the novice professions.

I don't think it will stay this bad however.

We were out there, a whole bunch of newbies trying our skills in medic, brawler and marks(wo)man around Restuss. We new there were some TC regulars dancing in the theater and we wanted to bring them back some BF. My intend was to work on my live-"template": Master Fencer, Master Brawler, Entertainer 1144, Master Dancer, to be able to test things that concern me and I was familiar with.
It didn't work somehow I got killed twice (by Vir Vurs :/ ), a stood my ground for quite a while in combat and in the end I had neiter (health-)wounds nor BF. The dieing didn't help, of course, due to the new player exemption. And I am glad it didn't since it would take a doc to heal wounds and there isn't a doc on the whole server yet. I can only hope it is still bugged, though.
But with the massive changes, making everyone an actual newbie to the game, you never know...
