Thank you for noticing and welcome to a great club. The dancers are why many of us musicians still find music to play.

I started this game as a newbie to MMOs. My first master was Marksman, but I was always in the cantina playing music. I gave up my playing for Teras Kasi.

I started a new character on another server, on which I have stayed. This character began as a dancer. I gave it up for the hologrind.

When Patch 9, the Jedi Revamp came along, I converted my character into a Jedi Dancer. I gave it up for more Jedi skills.

I bought a second account and made him a musician. I have not found my own roleplay, and the only times he plays are for guild RP events.

I am now testing the CU, and I am not certain whether it will save the game or not, or if I even want to stay with it or not. But I do see in it hard times ahead for the entertainer/social professions, which hold a soft spot in my heart.

So I hereby promise the people of this dancer forum:

My main will be a Dancer until the day my account ends. I will never allow an AFK buffing macro to be executed or entered. I will become a member of the Dancer commuity such as I would hope to see more of, as there were once in the first few months of the game.

I do not want Entertainer to end.

Ugh... day 1 thus far: I'd forgotten how dead cantinas are. The group leader, a Master Dancer in Lowca's only entertainer guild, IS AF-Freaking-K.

I have 12 healing XP and halfway to Dancing 1.

Good news is that nobody in the cantina will complain if I let my flourish macro handle things while I go get lunch.

EDIT: While I was typing this, the ATK players formed a new group and my silly flourisher got me into it like I was some AFK dumpo >.<
