Thread: Theater Quest Dance/Music at same time?

The Theater Quest guide states that you can get your audience entertainment count while doing either dance or music.

Do you have to take both quests for this to work, or will taking either one count towards both? If both, how do you get the theater manager to give the option to take the other quest after you've already chosen one but not yet completed it?

All she tells me now is to come back after I've had 10 people listen to me. I went to the cantina and the group was playing a song I haven't learned yet, so I switched to dancing. After a while I caught the message I needed 7 more people to watch or listen to me. I presume this is counting towards either discipline?

I took the musician quest and would like to also do the dancer quest. Can they be done at the same time? Or do I have to complete the quest for Western and then start over again for Theatrical 1 and 2?

I hope this question makes sense. I just did an all-nighter and my brain is jello.

Nope you don't have to take both quests at the same time (in fact I don't even know if you can do that). Your count will go up for DANCE if people either /watch or /listen to you. But if you are in a group they have to listen to YOU, not your partners, which is annoying... since it forces you to ask people to listen to you specifically

No, they cannot be done at the same time. Even if you go to a different theatre manager they will just continue from the quest you are currently doing. You will need to complete the music first and then take the dancer quest.

I know that when they came out, the Dev who worked on them said that they'd need to be done one at a time. That option wasn't on at all at first, he had to change it so you could do both at all. The thing I don't know is, what if you need to switch? Like you start Musician but then decide you don't want to be a Musician anymore but you do want to dance... can you reset and start over as a Dancer?

If that doesn't work, it might be a good idea for Eshi or Scip to ask for a reset option on the manager.

An earlier post has prompted me to think about options along these lines.
