Thread: Standing ovation
The first is Lira. I have not seen her perform in a while as she has moved on to greener pastures than the armpit of a planet we started on. All the same in the first few weeks of the game she was very attentive and conversational with all of her customers and made the cantina a very fun social place to hang out.
The other is Aniella who I saw for the first time last night. She was a spectacular dancer with fantastic timing for flourishes and techniques that made for a very entertaining show. She too welcomed everyone who entered the cantina and made what was going to be a quick stop to heal some battle fatigue turn into an hour of in character idle chit-chat.
There are lots of other dancers who always make me feel welcome when I end up in the cantina, so much so that more and more I just go there to hang around and chat with the regulars
I want to congratulate Crista from Wanderhome for 2 things. 1 getting master dancer. she was i beleive the first to do so on server if not top. She had to work for money to buy her skills cause no one was able to teach her. and she is always very nice to everyone and always willing to help them out. The second thing is congratz on the 10k tip )
thanks for all your help Crista )
I would give a standing ovation to Rafae, as the only male dancer I personally know who is pursuing Dance, without music as a secondary or primary. It's tough to find outfits, the girls get all the attention and tips, and it's a hard road.
I'd also congratulate people like Hammy, Tea, Mord, Calliope, and others who have taken up dancing or music simply as a side hobby - because they saw how much fun we had in the Cantina, and wanted to join in.
People like that make what we do worthwhile.
I'd also like to congratulate Keeon, who happens to be my personal favorite dancing partner. She's become an unexpected friend, a loyal ally, and a delight to be around. To top that all off, she is an outstanding Twi'lek dancer
Can we also congratulate musicians? Because without them, dancing would be like playing air guitar. I have thoroughly enjoyed my work with PeppermintPatty, Kekki, Evie (thanks for the hair!) and Ricky. I don't mean to leave other musicians out, but those four carry the fondest memories for me.
Stud, Lanah and Large Marge on Eclipse... cheers to you.
Flawed Diamond is also on Eclipse, but alas, I have yet to have had the privaledge of seeing her dance.
Thanks, Adara.
I don't mind the not getting attention part because I get it from my fellow dancers and friends, which is more than adequate for me. Without you guys, dancing would not be as enjoytable as it is now.
Rafae / Starsider / Keren
How do you get this silly thing to stop double-spacing, anyway?
