Hello everyone.

I know I shouldn't let things bother me. I really know I shouldn't, but this DID bother me...BeforeI say anything, this isn't a flame post or anything of that nature, just...I guess...needing a little insight if I'm doing something wrong or if it's just a lot of immature people.

I'm a Rodian female that's a dancer on the Kettemoor server. I normally get mixed reactions, being a Rodian, but all in all I enjoy it. I try to dance as elegantly as Basic2 and Rythmic2 will allow and I've never danced in my undies. Nothing against those that do, of course. My dancing outfit right now usually consist an azure sports wrap, a pink knee-length skirt, and dress slippers.

The problem that I've experienced is with rather rude customers, especially when I go dancing and I'm the onlydancer in the Cantina.

I was dancing at the cantina in Keren on Naboo, having a pleasent conversation with a Wookie fellow while he was healing up his mind wounds. In walks a human, sorry I was far too angry to remember his name, and he walks right up to me, a little close for comfort, and doesn't ask, but tells me to strip. I tell him calmly that I don't dance that way. He then tells me he wantsa lap dance.

Were this RP of his character, I MIGHT have been able to stand it, but it most certinly wasn't RP, as he seemed to end everything with "LOL". Well, after I once again told him that I don't dance like that, he got mad and proceeded to call me some very derrogatory names and things that can't be repeated on the boards here. Needless to say, I got so mad that I just stopped dancing and logged.

This wasn't an isolated incident either. This same thing has happened to me on three seperate occasions by three seperate people. Am I doing something wrong here?

Yes, you're playing a "Female" character in a game that's dominated by people not old enough to shave yet. And there only sexual experience occured when they walked into there sisters room while she was getting dressed.

Learn to use the /ignore function. The fact that you let some retard get you so discouraged that "you" had to log is troubling. Just /ignore, and give him some kind of edgy /say so everyone laughs at them.

"You want a lap dance?" /emote looks (persons name) over "Umm...sorry honey, i don't give lap dances to Eunuchs. What's a Eunuch? It means your dickless dear."

Bah, something like that. Don't be a victim, leave victims in your wake. Mwaha...hehe...haha...cough...

Everything i said above applies if the person is NOT Rping and acts like that. If he's rping and wants some T&A, handle it however you choose IF you're Rping yourself. If you're not, tell them in tells. If you are, roleplay away.

I think there's an option in the game to report a player for harassing behavior. Will it do any good? Maybe not - but if this player is harassing a lot of dancers and they all complain, that could make a difference.
