I don't want to come across as some arrogantgirl that I thinkI'm the be all end all of master dancers....but just I see some things that bother me from time to time.....

Like, droids and macros. Why must you have a droid patrolling the cantina at all times, with the name "PleaseTip"? Why do you have to have a macro go off every 5 minutes saying "DONT FORGET TO TIP!" Don't you have any better methods to get tips than begging?

I've been reading these forums, and seeing how other people treat the dancer profession, and I took note of things to do that I approved of. I'm not the roleplaying type that much, but I try to only dance when I know I'll be there to talk to people and interact. I only leave the game dancing without flourishes and effects, when I go afk for a second, andlike, one of my friends needs to be healed. I've walked into cantinas sometimes, and I see people playing music or dancing in the center of the cantina, and you know they're afk, but they're just throwing off macros, saying "please tip!" Am I just missing the logic in this kind of thing?

Another thing that has come across to me as revolting, I hate to use such a word, but...fleshwraps.

Why is it that other dancers think you need a fleshwrap to be a good dancer? It's like taking the scapegoat in the profession, and just not even thinking about an outfit. I admit, I put on a flesh toned infiltration suit occasionally for just a quick laugh, but I spent about 2-3 weeks, playing around with different outfits, until I found one that I liked for dancing, and what was even better, was it's a nice outfit for hunting also.

sorry, I just find some stuff to stick in my head and annoy me :/

the one and only thing that annoys me with dancers

1: the buggy formal dance animation, audiences just see someone walking sideways, with the odd twitch and body spasm when there about to walk back. I've talked to dancers and the dance looks very good to them, but not to others.

No. No, they don't. They don't understand how you can gain thousands of credits in tips by simply being there and interacting. They don't come to these boards and read some of the comments by patrons saying, "I won't tip someone who asks for it."

For the most part, you're preaching to the choir. I don't mind a gentle reminder to tip, but we need to be tactful about it. I usually say, "Thank you for the tips." Maybe I didn't get any money in the last 10 minutes, but no one else knows that. I'll remind people as they head to the med center to kindly tip the medics that help them. It's a reminder to tip, but it doesn't have that greedy tone to it that screams, "TIP ME."

As for fleshwraps, well, it's an opinion thing. I don't have a problem with them. They are just another outfit that can look good if they are custom tailored for the dancer. My character will never wear one because she's a modest farm girl. But a dancer should never rely on just a fleshwrap for tips. Interaction once again.

Love Star Wars, but the few role-players I could find on the servers were outnumbered by powergamers who wanted only l337 l00t and mad skillz. I can't justify paying $15 a month to play a game by myself.
Still cares enough to interject an opinion, though.
