Hiya,

I know what I make average tips, but I am about to start a buisness and will need to hire entertainers frequently -- I know what I'm thinking on offering, but was wondering if you could help me out -- by telling me your average tips. I know how it varies as I am a dancer, but was just curious.

Thank you for your time

Depends on where I am, generally I get about 500 creds per tip, but if I'm in a place that doesn't have many entertainers I get much better.I'm so close to master now that making experience has stopped mattering, now I just go to where I know an entertainer is badly needed, so my average tips these days are 2500-3000 credits.

Average for a three-to-four-hour dancing session is around 5-8K. This can be skewed like crazy- I've gotten 10K tips before, and I was also tipped a house, an exotic leotard, and a flesh-toned infil suit.

I find it completely depends on the cantina I'm in and how many other entertainers there are present. Keep in mind I'm male.

In Kaadara, fairly barren cantina, I can sometimes make 500-1000 an hour. In Coronet, very popular place, I'm lucky if I see a single tip all night. I have not tried the more advanced worlds...too expensive to travel and get there, and I have the feeling if there's a twi'lek in a fleshwrap there, I'll not see that investment returned.

My best luck is in player-run cantinas. The patrons are higher quality in general, thus willing to tip even a boy dancer. The one I work in also pays me a stipend, so at least I walk out with something.

In general, the best bet for cash would seem to be the less crowded cantinas, thus forcing me to make a choice between cash and character progression, which makes sense. I also do not flirt heavily unless someone else indicates they'd enjoy it (too many homophobes who would get offended), and I don't in general wear overly provocative clothing. It's possible both of those things might bring in more cash, but I'm not willing to invite more abuse than I already receive. I'd rather be poor.

Uh, no, that's not what I meant to say.

I meant to say there are plenty of people in this and other online games that do not at all like homosexuals and might get really uncomfortable and pissed off if a male tries to flirt with them. I have received abuse because of it and so I am now careful. I also submit to you that a person who calls me colorful terms and blatantly makes fun of me simply because I dance and flirt with women AND men does, in fact, cross the line into being a homophobe in my book.

I apologize if my meaning did not come across clearly, or if I stated it in an ambiguous way, but in no way does that excuse your exceptionally rude and presumptuous retort.

Have a nice day.

In the old days before they nerfed everything, tips could be pretty insane...I had many an evening where I walked out of a crowded Coronet Cantina 20 to 30k richer.

Now a days with really lousy mission pays and high end armor and weapons that every fighter is always saving for... well tips can fluctuate much greater...

Its almost impossible to predict tips today. Even ppl who were great tippers in the past just don't have it any more. Its one of the biggest problems I have with the Dancer profession is that advancing skills still has no effect on our destiny as it does in every other profession. Heck, make Master Armorsmith, Weaponsmith or Architect and you never need to worry about funds again... Also ever guild will be scambling to get you to join it, as a dancer I have recieved no such offers...

As far as offering pay to attract dancers... I think if you make it a fun thing to do, you will get them for very little. As such, don't even think of being a slave driver or anything Considering I can make 3k on just one sale of the right resource, dancing slave carrys a price tag you just couldn't afford

I know how much it varies, like I said, I myself am a Master Dancer, but any in put is very helpful. I think I have my system set up pretty well as of now, but any more imput would be much appreciated

As for now, I am scouting the galaxy of Tarq, looking for good dancers and entertainers -- meaning non afk!

So keep having fun, and like I said, any more input is well appreciated!

Varies here, a thank you to -10000. On average I get about 500cr per patron. I used to like the gig missions as a way of supplementing in character, but they aren't worth the hassle any more I find.
