I'm tired of hunting through threads to find event information so we're stealing Virrago's template and running with it. Please post multiple threads with information about events you're planning or running..that stuff is great for getting people's enthusiasm up. I'm really wanting to keep basic information here for calendaring purposes. Please don't post in this thread unless you are posting an announcement for your event!

We are NOT here to distrurbgameplay. We are performing for RP, fun, and for those who wanted to see us return. All are invited to create entertainer wookiees on chilastra and join in on the fun. If you already have a dancer or musician that would be great as well. We come in peace to bring the funk!

Name of Event: Hutt's Run: A Race through the Underworld

Location: The race starts at the Going-Commando Guild Hall (-6091, 6819 on Naboo, north of Theed
Date: Sunday, July 31st
Time: 2PM MST (and several hours after that)
Purpose of Event: A roleplaying event where groups of 6-8 will be racing to complete a series of tasks having to do with a storyline involving Jabba the Hutt. These tasks will take them across the galaxy and require the skills of individuals ranging from pvpers to image designers and architects. The group who wins the race will be awarded a cash prize (and possibly some other goodies to-be-decided). After the race is complete, there will be a party in the basement cafe' of the Going-Commando Guild Hall which everyone on the server (and beyond if the can manage it lol) is invited to

Purpose of Event: We were in denial for a while. Now we've healed a bit and it is time for a little closure. Please join PACE Federation while we celebrate the life of our beloved mascot, Bubba.
Clothing optional but if you must wear something, please make it the color RED in honor of Bubba. Safety helmet recommended but not required.
Everyone is invited (even Jedi). Please come as any faction or flavor you wish, we'll all be getting drunk and conflicting anyway.

Purpose of Event: Free concert with musicians and dancers strutting their stuff. Take a few moments to stop by and enjoy the show brought to you by the members of Celestial Storm! To get to the roof of the Lucky Despot turn left as you enter the cantina and head toward the back (but don't disturb Chewie who's relaxing in the very back room!). When you get to the gambling room in the back, on the opposite side from where you came in there is a little hallway with an elevator at the end that that you can take up to the roof level.
