Thread: The Entertainer Memorial is now open!

Tonight's Cantina Crawl concluded with many of Bria's Entertainer greats breaking in the newest cantina on Tatooine--The Edge of Yesterday. This cantina is located on the border of Mos Elsewhere at waypoint 5388 3731, and commemorates the loss of nearly 100 entertainers of all types from all servers.

I have high hopes for the future of this cantina, and will continue to add names of entertainers past as they are supplied to me.

When the cantina was opened, I was touched by how affected my friends were. I hope this cantina will allow our community to come and feel the touch of our friends once more, and that through the sadness it brings there will be healing. I believe it is well worth the trip across servers to pay a visit.

Because we do not wish to take business away from the Drunken Tusken, there are a few rules that must be followed.

There is to be no healing or buffing in TEoY.

Any "business" transactions should take place elsewhere.

Finally there will be NO AFK macroing in TEoY.

Keep in mind that we would love for people to stop by and dedicate songs and dances to the fallen entertainers, but please do not use this cantina for "everyday" healing and buffing. The Drunken Tusken is right up the road for those uses.

If you would like to view some screenshots or to know a little more about The Edge of Yesterday, you can find the information you're looking for here.

Thank-you all for your support, and I look forward to seeing you when you visit Bria's newest cantina!

I was honored to be at the official opening of this very special and wonderful place. It is moving and respectful memorial to those entertainers who are no longer with us. If you are an Entertainer on Bria it is a MUST see. IF you are an Entertainer anywhere its worth a little cross-server trip to view it. Lilo put in an incredible amount of work on this place and he deserves more thanks and praise then I can offer him.

/stand;/applaud;/hug Liloman

WhenI found the candle for a very special person I knew, I had to cry. I've put a link to it here.

The screenshot simply does not dothe memorial justice. I'm just glad there was one candle missing that was originally slated to be there.

Please, everyone, if you knew an Entertainer who is no longer with us, (that would be most if not all of us) makea little trip to this memorial cantina. If you are a sentimental softy like yours truly, bring a hanky.

I updated the link with a better picture so if you looked at the other one please check this one out.

I'm sorry that I missed the end of the crawl - I didn't know anything about the cantina, Lilo! I will have to make the pilgrimage to it later. Perhaps Roho and I will be able to do that together. I don't know if I could handle it on my own right now . . . .

In their own way, each Cantina Crawl is a living memorial toformer entertainerswho have eitherbecome one with the Force or have gone on to other professions. Now that we have Javier back with us, this past one was very special indeed.

omg Lilo, what an absolutely beautiful tribute.

I'm going to have to make the cross-server trip, travel to the cantina in my absolutely embarassing noob clothing and pay my respects.

Thank you

Kreistor -

If you join the ent chat room on Bria when you get there, I'm sure that someone will be more than happy to help you with some less embarassing clothing for your pilgrimmage.

Most assuredly, Kreistor! I have an entire travel pack of clothing earmarked just for new entertainers! And I am not the only one.

Hehe, thank you so much Roho and Kirah. Those beginner clothes wouldn't have stopped me from traveling, but i totally appreciate the help

It definitely seems like Bria is the server to go to if you want to be an Entertainer. I'm on Lowca now, and entertainers of any kind are quite scarce. Funny how each server is different...

And please, call me Ub-ick. Kreistor is the name of the guy that gave me his account to use, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to change it

Not only is that comment not the slightest bit amusing, it make you out to be a calous, thoughtless person. I do hope you will realize this and perhaps even change your post.

Thanks again for all the support you are giving! I am truly humbled by all the feedback I've been getting from the forums, in-game, and from the website. Some of the comments have had me close to tears...we may be forgotten by others, but our own sense of community is strong.

I would like to add that my closet is also completely open should someonewant to change out of their newbie clothes. Just send me a /tell!

Strangely enough, Karena-Kurri, I don't know why someone who isagainst AFK Tumblers (see the Doctor forums) should want to set up a buff parlor near The Edge of Yesterday.Your statement here seems toencourage activities such as tumbling.

It is well worth the trip, Ub-ick. By all means give a shout on Ent when you get to Bria. We will make your journey and stay here as smooth and as pleasant as we can. I do think we on Bria, especially those who frequent the Ent channel, have a strong sense of community and mutual support. Hope to say Hiya.
