I'm just there now with another TC member on TC 1. We are trying them out now to see how well they worked so I'll update once I have more details. What we have so far:

1) There is a Stage Manager NPC in the Theed Theater backstage area(by the Dancer/Musician trainers).

2) She only talks to Entertainers.

3) There are also 2 nobles by the trainers who also only talk to entertainers.

4) The nobles give out missions for Dancers/Musicians. The noble by the dancer trainer gives dancer missions, the one by the musician trainer, musician missions.

5) The Stage Manager npc has some sort of quest involving going on the Theater Stage and performing.

We are trying all these out right now. I'll update more as I get it.

We were unsuccessful getting either of these to work. I'm unsure what I am supposed to do for the nobles' missions and when asked to go on stage, nothing happens and anyone else who talks to the stage manager is told "There is someone already on stage performing, please come back again later." I'll try these some more once we get some updates and info on Test. But there are new things for Entertainers now

Did you try the 10+ minutes playing/dancing that the missions seem to take ?

I'lljump onto TC as soon as I'm able to and try these out as well. Reports forthcoming if I learn anything new.

when were these added?

they were not in the patch notes

DEVs trying to ninja patch us so that we don't get a chance to test and therefore aren't a burden fortheir debugging team?

I logged in my TC character to try them out. (Her name is Gilma, please say hi if you ever see me!)

I spoke to the noble by the dance trainer, and she gave me what seemed like a regular mission, basically "if you've got what it takes, blah blah blah" and a wp about 7km from Theed. Dang it I didn't look in my datapad to see if there were more details. /slap self.

Then I tried to talk to the "theater manager." Even though I was the only player anywhere near the theater, all he'd say is "I'm sorry, someone else is on stage right now. Please come back later." I /bugged it.

Well I figured I'd try to get to the wp 7k away to try the noble's mission, but then the announcement came that TC was going down in 10 minutes. Poo.

I'll try again later and also try out the entertainer mission terminals to see if those have changed at all.

I was able to take missions from both of the nobles...for some reason their creation of waypoints lagged by about 1 minute after I spoke to them, and the missions paid 178 credits each. All in all, it's more convenient to get entertainer missions from entertainer mission terminals, because then you can see where the missions are going to be before they are downloaded to your datapad. (and you can get as much as 200 credits per mission from a terminal)

I couldn't get anything out of the Theater Manager, so my guess is she's something like the strange guys that showed up in Jabba's palace a long time before the Corvette mission came out...itmay be that they actually were planning on giving us something in patch 9.2 and she happens to be some "leftovers" from when they cut out our content.

Somewhere I read that the Hutt Casino would begin with dancing for a stage manager. Yep, it sounds like they placed her there before they decided to postponed the casino. Since the casino doesn't yet exist, it would make sense for her quest to be broken.

Thestage manager *used* to work lol. The person I was with broke her somehow and I think she's been stuck saying the same thing since. It might be worth trying again after the server update. As for these quests. They are not scheduled to go in until a 9.1 mini-publish. So it is very possible they are not fully implemented yet.

It might also be worth checking other theaters, like the one of Corellia, to see if they have their own seperateStage Managers as well.

The Hutt Casino might have its own variation on these. But these are new and due sometime before publish 10. TH's recent 19 answers refers to new things added for entertainers in publish 9, and at fanfest one of the devs mentioned new Entertainer Quests on TC now. Which is what made me go look after I read that quote.

i dont think these are new.

the nobles gave out missions from day 1. this was before then ent terminal missions were added (which are worthless and not fun)
