Fix entertainer missions

Include player city cantinas in entertainer mission list with much higher payouts. public cantina missions should still pay little.

Mission list should be scaled by player experience in the entertainer, dancing, musician lines (much like missions are scaled based on player combat skill). Low-level missions should pay less and require less time performing. Higher-level missions should pay more (much more) and require longer and longer performace times (like maybe 15-30 minutes, with a 20k pay out and a big experience bonus).

Greatly reduce (maybe even remove) experience for just dancing and flourishing in PUBLIC cantina's. I would say cutting to 10% of the current level would work (would take 10 times as long to simply macro your way to master, and before you SCREAM look at the next two).

Experience for dancing, and flourishing in PRIVATE cantina's should remain what it is today.

Greatly INCREASE experience granted for completing missions.

The combination of the above should should be such that you can reach master,IF you take missions to private cantina's and don't just macro dance MUCH faster than is possible today. Something around playing 2 hours a day for one month for example (or maybe about 2 or 3 times faster than is currently possible).

I don't know the *right* answer but this system should allow for the players to get healing experience as well, although perhaps not as much. Private cantina's in Theed, Coronet, and on Dathomire should behigh level missions.

Summary so far... you push more people into private, player-run cantina's by: giving them missions to perform there, and encouraging missions with both monetary and experience rewards. You also discourage AFKtaining.

Implement *some* system that further reduces the viability of macro'ing the entire way up to Master level. There have been a number of them posted. Hopefully, the more mission-oriented system would help that as well because if you stayed in one cantina you would get maybe only 10% as much experience as you do now.

Finally... Allow private cantina owners to "register" their cantina and place missions that show up on the entertainer terminal. Payment of the mission would come out of the cantina maintaince pool!

Indeed registration has to be fixed...BADLY. We have outpost cantinas where we cannot advertise, player cities that have qualified staff that cannot register, and cantinas what have nobody present, yet still show up as staffed. The only way I see missions to player cantinas working is to make /registration available to performers in a cantina regardless of faction affiliation. Even so, player cantinas can and often do create informal incentives to entertainers to staff their venue. NPC city cantinas need missions more, because this is the ONLY means by which we can encourage entertainers to go to Keren, Doaba Gurfeil, Wayfar, etc. As far as missions are concerned, you are right. Payment as it stands currently is quite franklyinsulting. I do not think that mission payouts shound have to come out of the maintenance pool of the cantina owner....especially if you are talking mission payouts on the scale of 20k and such. If this happened, a dancer who lays down a cantina would potentially go broke. Misions should encompass outpost cantinas too, and should be adjusted for travel fare. Hey, just because we don't need resourses, weapons, or medicine to do our trade doesn't mean we should not be paid and paid well for the distribution of our talent.

i like the idea on raising out mission pay out. maby make it comparable to the combat profession pay out. so if you are novice entertainer you get 500 to 700 cred missions, and as you go up the skill tree the pay out goes higher, so by the time you get to master you are getting a payout of 4000 to 6000 credits, which would make it much easier for entertainers and dancers to make cred in a dead cantina. but that is my thoughts on that. also i can understand that the devs want people to go through a bunch of different professions with the holocron jedi people, but remove the entertainer professions from the holocron and that would help out our afk entertainer thing out in some respects (i mastered dancer before the holocron craze, and there were still afk entertainers by the small handfull trying to get master, so they could be the best at their chosenprofession, then holocrons came out and the afk entertainers came in by the dozen) i also think our special effects shoulddrain from our mind pool instead of our action pool. those are my ideas on how the entertainer professions could be fixed to work out better.

Why punish players who chose to dance in public cantinas? I have never once danced AFK (not even for a quick bathroom break) and reached Master Dancer by dancing only in public cantinas on Talus, Tatooine, and Dantooine. By forcing entertainers to go to private cantinas in order to get experience points (or decent pay) you are simply punishing new players (both entertainer and combat) who do not belong to a guild or player city.
