I've managed to get Dancing Knowledge IV and am very close to Master Dancer. Now with Dancing Knowledge IV you get the Exotic and the Exotic2 dance. Once you can get master you get the Exotic3 / Exotic4 and Lyrical2 dance. Whats the difference between the Exotic/Lyrical/Poplock/Popular dance flourishes? If anyone could help me out that'd be great.

For the most part, they aren't any different. High-end dances only have a few unique flourishes associated with them. The remaining flourishes (flo 3 or 4through 8) are often either repeats of the same new flourish, or borrowed from one of the other earlier dances.

Not sure what you mean. I mean, the difference between the dances and the flourishes is the way they look. Once you reach master, you won't need experience and I'm sure you already know that the highest dance gives you the most experience. So, I'm not sure what question you're asking.

sorry about that, I meant when it comes to gaining XP... I'm finishing up my Technique branch now and was just wondering which one gave more XP... Exotic or Exotic2 and so on

As far as I know, the level of the dance is what matters. So, if you're going for your last techniques branch and are all the way up knowledge, it doesn't matter whether you do exotic or exotic2 because they are both at the same level...knowledge IV. I believe you will get the same experience either way. However, I always suggest doing exotic2 because exotic just looks stupid.

Unless you're roleplaying drunk, as we mentioned in the "Drunk Exotic" thread..

Honestly, I don't know for sure either. Drygo's reasoning appears sound to me, but I never danced exotic either, because I just didn't like the way it looked.
