I know we have to wait for our big faboo content like the Hutt Casino. And probably the new dances. And new clothes. And performance enhancements. And better group dance commands. And...stuff.
So how about getting ONE teeny tiny bug fix on the schedule? It's been in there forever, and it's silly and annoying.
I am speaking of the /setperform bug. "You direct your attention to %TT." How hard would it be to go in and replace that obviously hard-coded %TT with an actual code that would print the name of our current target? I mean seriously. Please?
It may seem like a small thing, but whenI'mdoing buff after buff after buff, and with the inherent 20% or so failure rate for one buggy reason or another, I find myself looking for that message in my little system messages window (I have a separate chat window just for system message) all the time. It would be soooo nice if it actually gave me the name of the person I last targetted for a buff.
I was thinking the other night about writing a macro to get around this, it bugs me so much. Maybe I'll add it into my alarm macro. It would look something like this (must target the buffee first):
/setperform;
/tell La'lepa You are now buffing %TT;
/alarmaddin 0 4 Buff done;
I mean, they do realize this bug is there don't they? Would it be worthwhile to have everyone who reads this /bug it in-game the next time it happens?

Yay!
Ok everyone. Next time you give a buff and you get the "You direct your attention towards %TT" message, enter it as a /bug. Cuz it should give the target's name, not just %TT, that's why! ![]()
Let's see how long it REALLY takes a bug to get addressed. Heh.

So, I have started my campaign regarding the /setperf bug.
I've also started /bug'ing a few times every day when I can't buff myself. I suggest that those of you who want this feature do the same thing.
I'm sure it won't matter, but I enjoy being annoying when I feel cheated.
