I posted this in the Entertainer fourm but it received a weak response.... 0
. If I had kept dancer or musician I would try this out but since I haven't I was hoping that someone else could take 3 minutes of their game time and experiment. Apparently buffing oneself would require a revamp of the entertainer buffing code, as stated somewhere else in the forums, but there is a /ui command that might hold some potential in the current system or require a much smaller and simpler change to the system. I encourage you to play around but the basic idea I had was this:
1: Begin your buffing macro
2: type "/ui action targetSelf", then press the Enter/Return key. It is case sensitive.
3: type "/watch", then press the Enter/Return key (You cannot bring the radial up when you have yourself targetted, unless there is a slash command to do that. If there is I haven't tried it yet.)
4: Sit back and relax until a little over two minutes has passed
5: Stop watching yourself
The only problem I think might exist is that you might not be able to watch another while animating, but I can't remember if that would be an issue or not. I'm interested in the results if anyone would care to post them afterwards, if it works I'm sure a lot of others would like to know too

Nope, it doesn't work, sorry.
All you have to do is type /tar self anyhow, none of that /ui business
Sorry, it's been tried a million times by people wanting to pick up entertainment professions to help themselves prep for battle. We wish it did work.

You're actually always considered to be waatching yourself, even without /watch.
Theoretically at least. There is a bug that can result in you not watching yourself.
