Thread: System lag between flourishes??

Hi 
I have no idea why but when I'm dancing, and I do a flourish, my whole system slows down for about 1-2 seconds after I hit the flourish key. This normally wouldn't be a huge problem, but since I buff a lot and have to flourish every second it makes it very difficult. This thing has only started happening in the last few weeks and I haven't change any settings in game, or any of my pc hardware. Has anyone else had this happen to them, or any ideas of how to fix it?

It's just lag. 
You can try moving to a less laggy planet. Dant on Starsider has been really bad for me lately... I went to Tat.

Thanks Panthu . I'm currently playing on Naboo, Valcyn, but it's so weird that this is happening when I'm on during off-peak times and dancing alone. Ah well. Maybe a better gfx card would help fix the problem. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

An update on this problem in case it happens to anyone else - my harddrive crashed over the weekend and I had to copy my backup of swg to my new harddrive (newly formatted), when I logged on the flourish lag no longer existed. So it's a little drastic, but if anyone gets this problem themselves I'd suggest either erasing your copy of swg (after backing it up of course), and then copying it back OR format your harddrive, do a fresh reinstall, and copy the swg directory back. As I said - drastic - but if you're scheduled for a reinstall anyway it might be a workable solution if you have this problem.
