Thread: Look at this post and comment, TH's idea to help reward ATK enterainment...
Personally I do not think it will solve everything, but it's a start. Let's get our comments in to shape this concept to something to help us.
Read, comment, think, discus...

Yes I know I mispelled entertainment in the title, I was excited to get the message out.

Well, forgive us if we don't like to be "used". I get so tired of hearing people claim they can't find entertainers to buff them. I'm on Bria most every night from around 7pm to 11pm ET. On the weekends I'm on even more (geeze, I need a life). I always have my Master Dancer title up. I can't remember the last time someone actually sent me a tell asking for a buff. Most of thedancers and musiciansI know are either also masters or at least novices and they are on Bria as often and sometimes more than I am and I could count on one hand the number of them who have received tells requesting buffs in the past several months. We can't help it if 1) the registry system is broken,2) players are too lazy to bother taking a couple extra seconds to do a search from the player interface to find a LIVE entertainer and 3) players are too greedy with their credits and don't want to use a live entertainer because they might actually be expected to pay for the service.

To quote "Necessity makes even the timid brave."
Which is what has happened.
I liken this forum to a beehive, constructive and with purpose. I see buffbots as the stick. Someone is bound to get stung!

Right, like guns and the nuclear bomb. Because those inventions were good things /rolleyes

Oh! I can walk up to the buff-bot that's spamming it's little heart out in the cantina, /invite it, /watch, /listen, and leave. I don't have to bother with anything silly like noting that there are people with this silly Master Dancer or Master Musician title hanging over their heads and, oh, I don't know, asking them if they can buff me. That would really be too hard and would take up my valuable time, and they're so unusable. I'm playing an MMORPG, but interacting with other players is too hard and makes my head hurt, not to mention my hands because I might actually strike up a conversation with one of them. Oh, the horror!

This guy got pwned. Ouch
But yeah, I love entertainer, this is just the sort of crap that makes me want to quit the game. I hate it when someone says "some1 buff me" or "can ne1 give me some $". Why should I respect someone who can't even spell, and theses are the kinds of people who don't interact with the entertainers.
Anyway, i was reading through the first couple pages of the In concpet idea for entertaining, and I was like OMG. A lot of the post were like, "interesting idea, this will improve the game" etc, but funny thing is, those were all posts by NON entertainers.
I can just imagine it now, demands from 10 players at once asking for 7 different flourishs. Really, this just is a slap in the face to live ents. I think they should just leave it as is, or do something to prevent afking without involving atk ents.
