Dancer Archive

This issue is mainly due to the fact that a lot of players can't watch right now because of the /watch bug. The only way you get entertainment healing XP is if other players watch you orif youare inspiring yourself. If you get creative, you can actually figure out a way to get a continuous flow of ent healing XP even when alone.

To be honest with you, it might be a good idea to just wait for the next publish before grinding dancer. Not only will getting ent healing XP be much easier but both ent healing and dancing XP have been drastically increased per flourish.

hehe with Publish 20 Ent Healing XP will be impossible to get since it will no longer be part of the game!

There will however be a new XP ype called Entertainer XP that will not be dependant on being watched or listened to.

As far as I'm concerned, it's the same thing with a different title.

The difference being that our ability to gain xp will soley be dependent upon our activity and no longer on what other players do (or who they /watch). This takes a lot of preasure off of leveling dancers who have had to compete with ungrouped masters for xp. It also frees us from being leashed to the cantinas. We won't be able to provide Inspirations outside of the designated structures but a dancer can perform anywhere they choose and not be penalized xp-wise for putting on a good show in front of the starport.

I would have much preferred that they removed the reasons why ungrouped masters were "stealing" exp in the first place (in other words, removed buffbots)....

I would say to the O.P... don't sweat it. In 6 days there will be no more Entertainer Healing XP, and it won't matter. Just chill until then, at this point. It's not worth getting worked up over something about to be taken out of the game.

You know, just because a Master is ungroupd dosent mean they are a buffbot(at this poin, what buff?), or attempting to "Steal" Xp, I myself perfer to dance solo, or with friends. and not with Afkers...

Well, true, so do I a lot of times. If a group has one ATK master leading a bunch of AFKers I pass.

But the difference that I was referring to (but not making clear, sorry if I seemed harsh) is that we're there to reason with. When we see a genuine newbie who is actually trying we're able to correct the problem instead of being oblivious (or "stealing" exp on purpose and bragging about it a forum sig /mutter).

The few times I went AFK in a group is because I was going to bed (like 4 hours before reset or less) and the group wanted me to stay for THEIR xp, not mine. Oh and I didn't master dance...I just got to the dance I liked and stopped. It is a blast to dance.

Oh and that is great news that I can dance anywhere and not get penalized! People might actually watch now! I can see it now....people from all over the galaxies going to the oddest places and dancing!

some of us ungrouped masters are not bots but are outta the group to a. make room for a grinding ent or b. do bandflos with another master

I am sorry you feel this way. I group with a droid and play bandflos, and to be honest most ungrouped masters I see are live and trying to enjoy the game in a cantina full of spam from AFK players and troopers.

Also I did not master to be playing starwars I all afternoon while the Group I am "stealing" XP from is afk.

It does appear that healing xp may not be working correctly. I was alone in the cantina and a player came in who had died in space and had a lot of BF. The player was able to watch me and his BF was going down but I was not receiving any healing xp. This is one of my "new" entertainers who has not mastered yet so she should have been receiving the healing xp. Hopefully, my counter will change when I log back in today.
