Question to you Ahazi players. How stable is Ahazi? Every time I look its up. Everytime I log on it I get in first try.
Eclipse has crashed for several hours every evening for day now and seems to be getting worse instead of better. I have NEVR gotten in in under a dozen atempts. Normal login time is about 30 minutes from when I start trying except when bumped which happens often. Then I can usually get back in 4-5 tries. I have a large Naboo house there and almost to Master Dancer but I'm seriously considering moving to Ahazi since I have some friends there from Beta.
I hate the thought to starting all over again but that's better than not being able to play most evenings.
Give me your thoughts on Ahazi.

I know guys. I'm just Venting. Its about all I CAN do with Eclipse down yet AGAIN tonight.
6-7 hours this morning and now 4 MORE hours. For the last 4 nites Eclipse has crashed and stayed down for HOURS every night. And all we can get for a response is that there IS NO problem and everything is working fine. Thats VERY depressing. It means either they think we're stupid or incompetant to know when the server is down. Or else they really THINK there is not a problem. I'm not sure WHICH is worse?
If they simply said Oh yes we have a problem. We're not sure what it IS but we're trying to find out so we can fix it.
THAT would go a long ways towards making me feel better and I think a lot of others as well. But to have our problem trivialized and dismissed as either NOT existing or being OUR mistake then what are we to think?
ARE they aware that there is a Real problem with Eclipse? ARE they working on it to try and solve it? From what they say I would assume NOT since they say there IS no problem. THATS the most depressing thought of all, that they TRULY believe everything is fine.
I DON'T want to know all the details of what they're doing in the server room, but I DON'T like being treated like a 3 year old who has to be protected from reality. I RAN an online service for 15 years. I DO know that when a server is down for 5 hours during Prime Time that that qualifies as a Problem. Telling me it Doesn't and that everything is fine is NOT conducive to high levels of confidence or trust.

Just be glad you are not on Starsider. I'd take the downtime of Eclipse any time
*sigh*

Sometimes I think I'm the only Ahazi dancer here :-)
Every time I have ever tried to log on to Ahazi, it's been up and the lag isn't that bad (except for that entering-the-cantina intial slowdown). The only problem I've found is that there seem to be fewer role-players than on some of the other servers.. it takes some time to know where to find them.
Ironically, the reason I created Ania in the first place was because Starsider (where my other character is located) was down so much. Unfortunately for Syl'cath, dancing is quite addictive and now I play Ania nearly all the time. Stop by Theed some time and check us out!

Heh yeah, stay away from Starsider. I joined that server because it had the most posts of any other on the forum, thinking it was because that was where most of the people were. I didn't realize it was because people couldn't do anything other than post on the forum because they could never get in the server.
