Funny thing about being an entertainer is some adventurers coming into the cantina think they can treat you like garbage because they're tougher than you. The funny thing about being a Teras Kasi Artist/Entertainer is that I don't loose duels and people seem to pick them a lot.

Last night after a long hunting expedition where I finally got my first box finished in the TKA I went into the Tyrenna Cantina for some dancing to get rid of my fatigue. I was in there dancing away talking with my fellow entertainers when these three wookies walk into the place. They immediately start acting like they own the place. They started to harass the female dancers and were busy calling me fag, they made fun of the other customers of the cantina and were just juvinile jerks to everyone. I danced a little longer hoping that they would just move on but they didn't. This entire time my title read novice entertainer.

After a couple minutesI said "Please move on or show somerespect to others." Wookie1said something to the effectof "oh yeah, who's gonna make me? You?" I stopped dancing at that moment, equiped my vibroknuckler and said, "sure."

The three wookies all at the same time challenged me to a duel. Boy they didn't know what was about to hit them. I went bezerk and accepted the first wookie's duel, he was a rifleman and had time to get off one shot.

Me: 600 Damage

Wookie1: Miss

Me: 600 Damage

Wookie1 dies. I quickly turned and accepted the second wookie's duel, he was an unarmed melee like I am but wasn't nearly as powerful, he fell in about5 rounds of combat. The last wookie said "No ****ing way!" and started to run out of the cantina, I accepted his duel then lunged attacked him, dropping him to his knees so I could catch up, he was another weak gunman and fell with a few blows. I stood over each of their unconcious bodies and gave them a lecture on manners and picking battles better before I delivered death blows to them all. Then went back to dancing...

It was a fun scene at the cantina that night.

Thats AWESOME! I love it...the punks got what they deserve, getting beat up by a dancer. Keep up the good work.

Dude... keep this story under your hat. We don't want them to know we can kick their butts. Let them harass... and we'll duel them silly.

you shouldn't gloat TOO much... the only reason you won is by having a higher combat lvl and spending more time playing the game. You didnt even have any tactics other than spam unarmedhit2 or whatever you did, along with the knockdown. TKA own too much in duels. Thats why its important to always make sure the TKA person declares to duel you FIRST. I alwasy got owned by fag TKAers who accept your duel when they're right next to you. So what you do is you (if you havea rifle) get them to challenge you to a duel first, then run and get some distance between you, THEN accept (preferably while prone). First two headshots will bring them down in mind alot. Once they reach you, you have to hit one more and it's over. If they got a teeny mind pool like alot of people do then its even easier.

So these 3 wookies walk into a bar.....

Awesome job Owano, I love when I hear about stuff like that happening. Makes me serious question my thought to go with Master Chef as my secondary profession and consider TKA or something else instead. A Cantina is a good place tobe a TKA too, makes it hard for those range weapon users to get away from you.

This is true, but don't mistake a TKA for any other kind of TKA, sure we spam some stuff and knock you down fast.

But this TKA, always has on hand 3 personal shield generators just for the wise ass prone gunman who try to wack my mind pool.

i will never be dumb enough to take a duel against someone without it running, so go head use up your HAM for mind shot and i will numb ya for your troubles.

Actually, I've always wanted to make a Chef/One-hand sword specialist and name him "Bill the Butcher". Now if only I could find the proper hat....

Poetic justice. Just bear in mind that you DO lose duels. You've just been lucky enough to fight noobs...who luckily are usually the ones who NEED a beatdown anyway.

Don't attempt that on, say, a devoted combat character who hasn't spent time on dancing, but on sheer killing power. You can't compete & if you could, that would be a sign that the whole game was broken, now wouldn't it?

We had something sort of like that happen in the Cantina in Kor Vella on the Eclipse server, except it was a female taking out a guy!
