I am sorry, but can you try and be more specific? What would cheering/clapping maybe be good for? I don't really understand.

I never heard of it before, sounds pretty unlikely to me.

Never noticed it in any case, maybe someone can try it out and give this gentleman an answer? My char is capped in dance/healing xp soI can't help him out here.

It's barely noticable. It's an additional point for the flourish. It would probably look like this.

So instead of 39, you get 40. Not that big of a deal. ::shrugs:: That's all I've noticed. I could be wrong, though. Now that I don't get xp anymore, I can't test it.

When there are 15 people *watching* you there is a noticeable xp boost...not necessarily if they are just cheering. To test this out, have them NOT /watch you dance, and just /cheer or /clap instead.

I have never, ever noticed a difference in xp because of people /cheering or /clapping. Ever.

Here is the skinny. Soon after release Holocron made a coment that /cheer and /clap helped our exp but that if people booed it hurt our exp. Sicne there is no boo comand in the game (dont knwo why not) most have asumed this was a wisecrack and not for real. That said I concider a cheer or a clap as good as a tip in my book. I work ahrd to entertain and any indication by a custoemr I've done this goes a long way tword keepign a smile on my face. So there you have it,if it helsp exp its barely percivable if its even there so don't break your fingers mashing a cheer hotkey. But please if you like what your seeing let us know

This does in fact give some xp. To test it one night, my hubby and I locked ourself alone in my house, I started my highest dance at the time (footloose I think) and marked down how much xp I was getting per flourish. (about 40). I had him do a cheer with my next flourish... no noticable increase in xp. He then spammed 5 cheers on my next flourish and I received an additional 10 xp. Not really all that great considering the spam it would create just for 10-12 more xp.

*shudder* Great. Just Great. Now we're going to have to deal with Billy L337ness, whose holocron told him to master dancer, setting up an afk macro, while all his friends have /cheer spam macros.
